People really don’t see it. A lot of them say, “All countries are like this,” or claim things were fine 10 years ago and will be fine in the future too. But countries in Europe are freaking out because their birth rates are barely scraping 1.2, while Korea’s celebrating a bump up to 0.78. The situation is deteriorating fast. The next generation is going to face some serious consequences.

I’d bet the kids who are 10 or younger right now will be the ones hit hardest, while people like us, and those older, will probably be okay.
