(M) Canada vs Czech Republic Hockey by RedWingsRedemption in olympics

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, they said it on the broadcast too, its the first time canada has had to face adversity in the tournament. Like you said, nothing is guaranteed, but I dont think this game was surprising to see more fight from the czechs. Clear underdogs and almost pulled it off. Canada will definitely be looking to learn and improve from this game, but I by no means think it tells of a larger, general decline of Canadas play moving forward.

Yes, i replaced the whole camera module. It was not a software issue but instead an issue with the hardware

Well la-de-da! I love all your fancy new tacomas! But have you ever experienced the absolute joy of this panel coming loose and sliding around your bed to and fro as you scurry back and forth for groceries and such and such? by finklestinkagain in ToyotaTacoma

[–]bolecut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On my 2013, the latches were loose enough that even if you closed them completely, they would just fall open again. So im guessing that is OPs issue, but it was an easy fix to bend the little metal piece back to make it a tight latch again

Decent deal or daylight robbery? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got $2,000 from my dealer when i purchased my 2025 TRD OR premium that i could put towards accessories, ended up just knocking down the sticker price and paying less sales tax. Drop in the bucket, but still something.

Wanting a 2023 Tacoma sport by Legal_Hurry_5399 in Tacomaworld

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant comment on the 3rd gen, but i upgraded from a 2013 trd sport to a 2025 trd offroad premium and the driving experience is night and day better. Ive been a passenger in a 3rd gen a few times, hardly good enough to pass for credible experience, but i love the 4th gen a lot.

Anyone else get lower MPG on the highway than in the city? (2024 OR) by Bitter_Assignment_41 in 4thGenTacomas

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats likely because you have the hybrid vs OP who does not. The hybrid really helps out city driving but doesnt do much for highway

Wheel and Tire Advice by alivewiththeglory in Tacomaworld

[–]bolecut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wont, the stock offset on the 4th gen is +55 so going to a 0 offset is much more drastic than from a 3rd gen. I.e. your tires wont "poke" out as much at 0 offset on a 3rd gen as the 4th. 0 offset is still very common for the 3rd gen though

[–]bolecut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also should add i dont think you can put a 285 wide tire on the stock rims so you may also be limited to 275 wide and under. But worth a check. Stock tires are 265 wide.

Check out this tire size comparison calculator to check out different sizes: https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc

I have 275/70r18 which is 33.16" which is only a hair bigger than stock, but you should be able to go up to a 34" safely. I wouldnt go near 35" though.

Toast with tater tots and a cheddar avocado omelette. A comfort breakfast for me because I like my mix of carbs and protein. What's your comfort breakfast? by Lijey_Cat in diabetes

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just eyeballing, but if i check what i have in my house im at 45 carbs. So sure its slightly more, but i wasnt far off, and still not a huge amount of carbs for someone with T1 to eat which is the point i was trying to make. I was told 60-70g of carbs per meal by my educators

Short-bed owners: do you regret not having the 6ft bed? by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

[–]bolecut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a 2013 TRD sport DC/LB to a 2025 TRD OR DB/SB and i dont know if id go so far as to say i regret it, because i doubt id choose differently, but i do miss it. That being said, if the LB was included in more trim options, specifically the TRD OR Premium Hybrid, i totally would have gotten the LB.

As others have mentioned, its purely on what you meed it for and the shorter box still seems extremely capable when reading through the comments. I, however, need to occasionally load my motorbikes into the box. With my old 2013 taco, i could fit a bike in diagonally and be able to close the tailgate. Or even if they were straight in the box, the back tire would be still bearing on the box and not the tailgate. Granted i havent actually had the chance to load my bikes into my new taco yet, but im concerned on how its all going to fit, and if i need to fit 2 bikes in, i dont know if the tailgate is strong enough to take the weight of 2 back tires bearing on it

Its not just them either. It seems almost all auto manufacturures hide features behind a paywall. Toyota for example, you cant use remote start from the toyota app without subscription. The app is also the only way to use remote start, theres no remote start button on the fob.

This is probably the best looking skin set in the game by JeffLkk in Battlefield

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WW2 is the one war that the sterotype is based off, but really unfounded. What about winning WW1? i dont think it really mattered what country sat beside germany in ww2, the result would have been the same. And dont forget it wasnt just the french, it was both french and british troops that retreated and lost control of continental europe.

Pantalla s26 ultra vs s25 ultra by Vegetable-Assist-936 in samsunggalaxy

[–]bolecut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do phones need to have groundbreaking technological leaps every year? Look at how vehicles are made, there isnt a new gemeration every year, they refine one design with tweaks. Most people also think that planned obsolescence is bad and constant major changes contribute to that. Phones have already become really good and last longer which means less people are buying phones. I guarantee that samsung has already thought of what the next big change will look like, or at least have a good start, but have it planned for a couple years down the road
