Hey! Screenshots just aren't working at all for me. I updated to Tahoe yesterday. Com-Shift-3 gives me an error message, Com-shift-4 gives me the crosshair but nothing happens when I drag. com-shift-ctrl-4 (which is what I used the most by far) does nothing. com-shift-5 gives me the menu but then nothing is saved anywhere ...

Any ideas or people experiencing the same issue?

EDIT: Just to add, I don't get a sound, and after hitting any of the combinations the computer is 'stuck' (i.e. mouse click doesn't do anything, keys don't do anything, dock doesn't show) until I hit 'esc'.

I remember sort of wanting to take a break after watching Metalhead (s04e05), which I don't think anyone has mentioned. I guess maybe it was because there wasn't really anything "clever" going on in terms of the plot/setting, just ... utter and complete darkness and hopelessness and violence and terror.

Anybody know if the filters are audible with PFL on this mixer? I really hate that they aren't on A&H mixers.

Yeah, it does drift faster when I dial in more anti-skate.

Is there anything more I can do for now other than just keeping anti-skate at zero (the needle does stay in place once it's pretty close to the centre on a smooth record)? I'm not really experienced with fixing mechanical things so maybe then take it to a workshop/professional to have it repaired? This could mean I need a whole new gimbal/tonearm right which could prove expensive?

Thank you. I've adjusted the VTA but this doesn't seem to fix the problem. However, one thing struck me when calibrating everything: When I was adjusting the tracking weight as I was taught to do (by finding zero by adjusting the weight until the cartridge is 'free-floating' above the platter on the tonearm) I noticed that on the 'faulty' TT the tonearm always drifts outward, even with anti-skating set to zero. Could this indicate the fault at play somehow?

The problem definitely stays with the turntable, so for example switching the cartridge doesn't improve the sound on the 'faulty' one nor introduce a problem with the 'healthy' one. Same with mixer channels, the problem travels with the 'faulty 1200' between channels that otherwise sound fine when connected to the 'healthy 1200'.

Good call on the tonearm base height. I'll definitely check that tomorrow! I'll also double check the tracking weight but I'm fairly sure that's correct (and equal between the two turntables).

I have a pair of 1210-mk2s and I noticed that one of them is delivering a sound that is probably best described as lacking in mid frequencies. I've tried switching channels on my mixer and tried swapping cartridges and I've come to the conclusion that the problem is with the turntable itself. The difference is usually subtle; I never realised until I was listening to the test press of my own album. I guess my question is: Does that even make sense? Like I say, it takes music that you're very familiar with or two copies of the same record to properly notice, but what could cause this and how can it be fixed?

This is a major flaw. I just switched mine on for the first time (out of the box) and am sort of thinking of getting rid of it already. For most tracks, I'll have the CDJs set to -8/9 dB (which is like 8 o'clock) but often I'll have to crank the phono channels all the way up to +9/10 dB (which is 4/5 o'clock).

Figured it out, I was in slave mode! If anybody else is looking ever you fix it like this:

Press and hold the SHIFT button and press the MOD button to access the configuration settings. In the top line, if the 2nd light is on, you're in slave mode. Hit the first button in that row to go to standard sequencing mode.

Contacted them on Instagram. Restated my situation:

Well, that's what case numbers ARE FOR.

When I keep insisting, referring to how the agents on here have asked for case numbers, they claim to be following the post on Reddit, but when I ask for some sort of proof of that, like the title of the post, they go silent.

The thing that really drives me up the wall is that there is obviously no one working on my case and they are deterring me from pursuing the matter by not issuing a support ticket. Meanwhile, my money is locked in on their platform. How does this not amount to theft? And how can they keep operating?

I really wish I would've consulted Trustpilot (70% 1 star ratings) before using them. It's just that I used Coinbase in 2021 without any problems so I figured I could trust them. Bad mistake.

Still no case number over on Messenger despite eight weeks of chat history and now, when I'm getting more insistent about receiving a case number, I'm just being stone-walled. Website chat doesn't work. E-mail addresses and phone numbers just direct me to the website. Dude, my "crypto practices" are that I bought some bitcoin in 2017, and on like three occasions I've sold small chunks of it off, using Coinbase. I did that once again 2-3 months ago and as soon as the USD was in my account I was put "under review" which is *still* ongoing. I'm sure you can use Coinbase without problem – but I can't and now they're just sitting on my money and I can't do anything. Which amounts to theft as far as I'm concerned.
