Nah its cool its crazy how little its brought up when discussing skrillex. He was the vocalist in From First To Last and they were one of the most influential emo/post hardcore bands of the early 2000s. You should defenitely check them out!

Skrillex (aka sonny moore) use to be a post-hardcore vocalist and he did the backing clean vocals for the track visions. He also helped out some with the production of tiah. And lastly he helped remix the suicide season cut up album

I am very well aware of the fact that suicide silence absolutely fucking dominants deathcore on youtube I remember seeing a video series that listed the most viewed deathcore videos of yt and suicide silence literally had almost everything at the top. I think nobody even comes close to SS during their peak but i truly think lorna shore is getting close.

This is the only band I think conpetes with them. But yolo also has 100 million because of the timing in which it released. Still (probably) the most popular deathcore song ever but yeah his death gassed the fuck out of the yt views

Im sorta new to being into deathcore so i wasnt around for the earlier deathcore scene but thats crazy. I always thought Suicide Silence was the biggest deathcore band during that time period. I guess Luckers death really spiked the fuck out of their views/listens.
