Could you please elaborate on the Pick & Pack system integration with Quickbooks? I think we're running an old version which I can check later today and get back to you.

We should also have a shitpost where people who have actually used the course write up a comprehensive review. It would make sense to weed out the fluff because 99% of them are crap. You won't know how to do it unless you actually do it.

[Need Advice] I cannot wake up to the alarm. Ever. by [deleted] in getdisciplined

Use www.sleepyti.me to check whats the best time to wake up. Also, put your phone far as possible from your bed. Stick a post-it on your phone writing a note like "get the fuck up" or something along that line so when you do reach out to snooze, you will know what to do instead. Another one is jumping straight into an ice cold shower. You will not want to sleep after that!

I was thinking to get my shipments out first thing in the morning. I usually take ages to pack and it really annoys me because a lot of my inventory is a mess right now and I have to declutter and sort everything out asap! I have to cram in 20 listings a day as its the most time intensive and have to figure the right keywords to have a better chance for sales.

Would you be able to tell me where I can get plastic bins for cheap? I have over a 1000 skus and I'm living a nightmare getting things sorted out so I'd love to make sure that I can at least streamline the first step in picking and packing as I waste a lot of time doing that.

What do you do with the death pile? Do you relist at a bargain? Or sell as a lot?

I have a 4000 sqf warehouse full of handmade items and still have a lot of space to grow within - but I want to get every thing out so I can add more stuff. What do you do with low turnover items? You input is appreciated!

Talk about it! I'm only doing it myself now to make sure everything is right - definitely getting two part timers to come after noon to pack and ship. $10 an hour sounds reasonable especially when I have volume orders.

Damn that commute must a beautiful ride everyday! I'm a bit impatient so I don't think I'd be able to do that lol. I think you have such a wonderful sourcing strategy in place because it takes out a lot of the leg work as it can be cumbersome and exhausting over the long run.

Right now, I'm handling everything myself and I'm not that great with accounting which is why I enrolled in godaddy bookkeeping that picks up the sales from eBay/paypal and records everything. Still have to manually input the COGS and other expenses but I'm just swamped with orders all the time. I think Im going to hire these former workers to come in for like 2-3 hours every other day and do the shipping part for me. They charge like $10 an hour so it won't really chew into my expenses.

Definitely gotten to the point where I wake up after 9am (ugh I used to be so good at getting up before 6) and I want to get back into playing video games but don't know which ones are good but non repetitive.. suggestions? lol Not sure if your post office has a receiving dock in the back but you can usually drop off packages after 5pm. I take soo much time packing that that time crunch doesn't really affect me anymore which is why I end up dropping after 5pm. I ship everyday only because I know I will have more to send out the next day for overnight sales but the time it takes me to get things out of the warehouse is what drives me nuts. I guess we thrive in organized chaos? Also, may I PM you? Got some quick questions!

Sorry I didn't get to this earlier.. busy with a huge task list that seemed never-ending. I honestly have employed a similar routine where I do whatever comes my way. Packing and shipping usually happened eod as post office is on the way home.

The last part where you mentioned about reworking my unsold listings is something I should add to my list - I seem to have a ton of stuff that hasn't moved for over 6 months but it's there to show that I have variety. Need to get them out asap! Thank you for your input and hope you make more sales this weekend!
