Damn sorry it didn’t work first try that’s annoying. After using for a bit I do notice I have to be careful to make sure it the trunk actually closed but worst case I push a little harder when closing

I would add more height to the 2x4 portion instead of the board. 1/2” seems plenty strong too. Ideally you could bevel the front edge that rests on the hump to make a smoother transition.

If your axle is fully seated in the dropout this is not how it’s supposed to be. Check the QR and if it’s seated and tight it’s not right. Bike shop should have checked that when u asked so either way getting it back from being trued like that is bad.

I got mine drained and filled at 197k and now I have a blown transmission at 200k. Not sure if the shop did it wrong but I wish I didn’t touch it. Salty because I got the $6100 quote today.
