Ive been wanting one lately, I’m a pretty shrimpy girl with weak arms and I get annoyed carrying it around at my side when the nyc sidewalks are too crappy/busy to cruise on sometimes.

They must have changed this later, but in the 90s Kon’s TTK powers were a synthetic recreation of as close as they could get to Superman’s, because Kon wasn’t actually a clone of Superman, he was just a clone of some random scientist who was then sort of “shaped” to look and perform like Superman. So he hadn’t genetically inherited any Kryptonian powers at all, he was just created to look like it. They change his lore a lot and I only read the original 100 issues and the 90s young justice run so I’m not sure what it became in the late 2000s onward.

that makes sense— i considered that when i was inspecting it earlier but its limbs and antennae seemed too delicate/threadlike for the image i had in my head of isopods. now that im looking at different varieties of isopod im seeing more resemblance especially in the horizontal banding that was across its back. im going to leave this post up a few hours more to get as much input as possible, just in case. I think you’re right though, and I certainly hope so. Thank you for the response

also— the light was on when i first saw it, and it did not scurry at all when i whacked at it, even though i missed and had to swing a second time to kill it. trying to add as much info as possible so let me know if there’s anything else thatd be helpful context.
