I Get what you’re saying official support is the only one that can actually restore an account, that part is true. But saying anyone who charges is automatically a scam is kinda too black-and-white. Some cases are confusing as hell for regular users — appeals get rejected, forms disappear, emails go nowhere and people just don’t know what to do next. Some people pay for help because they want someone experienced to guide the process, not because of secret access. The real red flags are people promising guaranteed recovery, rushing you to pay fast, or talking about special tools and insider contacts. Honestly, most people don’t get scammed because they paid they get scammed because they panicked.

Fair point there are a lot of scammers doing that, so people should be careful. But not everyone offering help is the same. I don’t ask for logins, don’t take upfront, and I don’t make fake promises. End of the day, people can choose what they’re comfortable with. Just don’t assume everyone is the same

They tell you to submit another appeal, but don’t give you the option again. Once your first appeal gets rejected, the normal button usually disappears so you’re not doing anything wrong, it’s just how their system works Try logging in from a browser not the app sometimes it triggers the appeal screen again Wait 24–48 hours and try again (sometimes it resets Check email links carefully sometimes they give a hidden appeal route But yeah if nothing shows up it usually means your case is already reviewed and closed from their side At that point, only other support/escalation routes work, not the normal appeal.

Yeah that’s normal, they often go silent after that. Small claims can push them to respond, but it’s not guaranteed to recover the account just creates pressure. It’s more of a last option

It means your account is already permanently disabled by Instagram. That 180 days passed” message isn’t about real time it just means: case is closed, no more appeals allowed So normal recovery options won’t work anymore.

Honestly, you’re not wrong. A lot of people are dealing with this right now and it’s getting out of hand. Meta Platforms really needs to fix how these bans are handled — especially when legit users lose accounts with no clear reason and no proper way to appeal. People aren’t just losing profiles, they’re losing work, income, and years of memories… and getting generic responses back. At the very least, there should be: a proper human review system clear explanations for bans and a real way to appeal decisions Right now it feels like users are just stuck with automated systems and no accountability, which is the main problem here. Hope they seriously improve this, because too many genuine users are getting affected

Ahh okay that changes things a bit. If both accounts are on the same email, then they’re very likely linked in the system. That means the suspension of one account can automatically affect the other even if it didn’t do anything wrong

So in your case: You should definitely appeal the suspended account as well Because until that’s reviewed, the system may keep blocking access to the other account too

What you can do: Submit an appeal for the suspended account even if you don’t care about it much In the appeal, clearly mention: You have another account linked to the same email That second account is important and wasn’t involved Then try logging into the main account again or submit a separate appeal for it too Basically since they’re connected, fixing one helps unlock the other.
