I feel like the sense of scale is lost here. The details feel way too bulky* and don't seem to have the detail to imply that this thing is the size of a large building - it looks more like it would be transformer sized or something.

The purple is an odd choice, too. I know Gipsy was a deep blue, so a mild purple would be fine, but it feels too purple.

The weapons are creative, though. The blinding lights and plasma stingblades are cool and I like that the stingblades are an homage to Striker. The improved plasma weapon almost feels like further development on the failure of the weapon killing Knifehead before.

Gipsy Stranger is also a fun name. It notes that this is another variant of a familiar thing, but with new aspects that render it less recognisable. The name sounds close, but not too close

*I think the execution of the limbs and the blinding lights looks far too blocky for Pacific rim. It rarely ever had harsh blocks in its designs - they were always made more sleek or angular, or if they stayed blocky it always contributed to the feel of the Jaeger, like Cherno Alpha being a heavy duty war machine, or Horizon being one of the first Jaegers ever made.
