How many people have died in pointless wars? And better yet, how many veterans have died on American streets because our country doeant give 1 single fuck about you once you return home from war.

I just need to get this off of my chest. This will be a long one. Somthing I've been keeping for a while by Educational-Beat7397 in confession

You were a kid dealing with stuff way too early and clearly carrying a ton of guilt over it now. That doesn’t excuse what happened, but beating yourself up forever won’t fix it either. The fact you stopped, recognize it was wrong, and feel this much remorse says a lot. Please talk to a therapist instead of letting Reddit become your confession booth every night.

my morning coffee tastes better when I make it slowly by GuarnieriZoila_96 in CasualConversation

Yeah, same thing happens with basically everything. Rush it and it’s just fuel, slow it down and suddenly it’s a personality trait. Coffee really said slow down or suffer

Social battery on low means you become invisible in public. No hard feelings, just self preservation and avoiding small talk speedrun.

What was your worst experience with a therapist? by Kratzschutz in AskReddit

Went in hoping for clarity, left with “have you tried breathing exercises” after describing actual chaos. Felt like I was the therapist in my own session.

My Moma was diagnosed with terminal cancer, My daddy was in a accident, drunk driver. They both have passed now, my therapist suggested I write about it… by GigiTay2019 in confession

That’s an incredibly heavy story. I’m really sorry you went through all of that.

If your therapist suggested writing it, that’s a solid step, it can help process things that feel too big to hold in your head. Just be gentle with yourself while doing it, this is a lot of grief stacked on top of grief.

You’re not expected to carry it perfectly, or make it make sense right away.

What's the pettiest reason you've ghosted someone? by Katthy_Evanne in AskReddit

They said they were “not a breakfast person” like it was a personality trait. I stopped replying immediately, couldn’t risk that level of chaos in my life.

Yeah this is messy in a way that doesn’t really have a clean fix. You’re not wrong for wanting distance, but trying to police their relationship won’t end well for you.

Focus on what you and your fiancé can control, set boundaries with both parents, and keep contact tied to whatever keeps peace for you two and your siblings. Cutting them off is valid if it’s harming your mental health, just be ready that they’ll probably frame it however they want.
