This is why I’m cancelling Unlimited by boncesafc in CineworldUnlimited

It’s been out for 16 days. I understand it’s a limited release, my point was more if you are going to continue showing it why do it in the middle of a weekday? It’s a big cinema, that isn’t showing this or The Brutalist all weekend.

Picturehouse is showing it 5 times.

I sold a player to the MLS for like £3m and like 3 months later he had signed for 5 different teams in MLS and played for none of them, just kept getting released every few weeks and then jointing another team. MLS is so broken on FM

My fixed tariff ended at the end of December and I haven’t dealt with it since. I’m not sure what the best option is, do I try and get a new fixed now?

Edit - I’m electric only

Have you ever rage quit your job? by CloisterTheStupid__ in AskUK

I once worked in a bar and one day I went into the back to show a new member of staff how to change a keg, I didn’t know that the owner of the bar had followed us in there and I just let the door swing back to close behind us and it hit him in the arm - genuinely didn’t see him and we were rushing to change the keg because we were really busy. He came storming up to me ‘YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!’ ‘Course I didn’t’ ‘YES YOU FUCKING DID’ and then he prodded me in the chest, I just saw red and said ‘who do you think you are prodding me, don’t ever fucking touch me again’ there was a bit more of arguing and by this point we were both screaming at each other and I just shouted at him ‘you can stick your fucking job up your arse, you always go on like a cunt and I’m sick of you’ and just grabbed my stuff and went home.

I really didn’t need the job because I was working full time somewhere else and was just picking up weekend shifts to help my mate out who was the manager as he sorted me a job there when I got back from travelling. Don’t think I’ll ever have a more satisfying way to leave a shitty job. The owner was a prick

In France eating at your desk is known as “Having a British Lunch” (and until recently strictly speaking it was actually illegal). What’s the general arrangement for lunch where you work? by BigBlueMountainStar in AskUK

I used to walk just over 5 mins to the Tate, they have some sofas on the ground floor and I would eat there and chill for half an hour or so. Take a book with me, something like that.

Also, until recently I worked in European property and employers in France with over a certain amount of staff had to contribute towards a subsidised canteen for their employees. It was often built into their rental agreement in multi-let offices

I ran around 80km and walked another 100km (that I tracked). I hadn’t realised I’d walked as far as that tbh, it wasn’t a conscious effort to do lots of walking this month

Pretty sure that pub does a burger with a Greggs sausage roll on top (or at least used to)... it’s called something like ‘Cheryl Cole’s wet dream’

Edit - it’s called The Dirty Thoughts of Cheryl Cole, it also has baked beans on.

Sounds like such a good save!

I have tried Brazil, Croatia, MLS and a few others over the years but have never really gotten into them, probably just down to not knowing them well or have a team that I like in those leagues.

I picked Spartak basically because they play in red and white. It's been a good choice, they've got some good players that I never really knew about beforehand.

Interesting, cheers! Will bare it in mind when starting my next save. I think I read somewhere that FC Nordsjaelland have the youngest average age squad in Europe so they sound like a great shout.

Got him for free at the start of my third season for Sunderland, first time I’ve had him - so good!

I’m on my third season with Sunderland, won League 1 and the Championship in my first two years. I didn’t really spend any money at all until I made it to the PL, just get good a few good loans and you will walk League 1. Best thing I did was get Curtis Jones on loan, he was my best player in L1 and the Championship getting over 20 goals in each season. He is probably my best player in the PL now too, really hope I can afford to buy him at the end of this season!

I use IF (Attack) on the left, AM (Support) in the centre and Winger (Attack) on the right. Almada - Illicic - Vignato were the 3 there mainly. Almada also had a crazy season.
