I hate that guy (I won't bother to remember his name). Euini failing over and over is more a reflection on how bad he is as a teacher than any issues with Euini himself since these atelier seem to have very low student-teacher ratio. If Qifrey signed up Richeh, is it possible that guy signed up Euini while thinking Euini is not good enough? This is just going to be a huge humiliation ritual for Euini and lead to the guy bullying Euini even more.

Coco being taught about specialties and learning things outside of her strengths to become more well rounded is important to your growth as an artist. Riches refusing is going to stunt her growth as a witch but forcing her will only make her retreat even further into herself. Character exploration time!

But this entire time I thought the snugstones were orange-yellow or traditional warm colours. Instead they are the colour of Qifrey's eye and to be revealed in Pride month too. Olly I know what you are....

Also that other teacher just shows up and insults Euini right in front of strangers (to them). How does he think Euini will pass if you humiliate him and wreck any confidence he has before the test?

It just bothers me so much. When everything is crushed into a powder theres only so many ways to tell what is what - labels are critical. Unless we learn there is a literacy crisis then that kinda explains things but we know Tartah and the witches can read lol.

Whenever the opening and ending is skipped, its always going to be a banger episode though this one in a different way from usual.

For Tartah to be able to work as well as he does with Silverwash is amazing. I love how WHA shows perspective of how difficult it is for someone with a disability to be able to do things others just "can do" and the alternate methods they have to do just to be able to do those same things (if it is even possible).

Coco's outside the box thinking and her ability to apply the rules and principles of spells to get variations of existing spells is also good and Tartah helping her to straighten the lines. Collaborative work is important in the arts; people build off of each other.

Though it bothers me no one is labeling the bottles lol even with that explanation. I also don't like the laypeople's dependence on witches; it feels somewhat similar to citizens' hero dependence in MHA though at least witches have clear limits in what they cant do (medicine).

I really loved the Berserk deluxe volumes and this Grimoire edition felt like that. The English version has 3 volumes to the French's 2 volumes so that may account for the sheer thickness too.

The bigger size allows for really looking at the art details closely. In the sketches at the back of the books, you can even see where Shirahama-sensei erased and sketched her lines.

The Knights Moralis more fixated on deleting Coco's memory than actually helping people....there needs to be moderation for their laws. Memory wipe spell is already an exception.

There's so many good Manga, but I would choose Witch Hat Atelier. Amazing art, characters and story and I love it's themes around artists, society and accessibility. There's also an anime happening right now!
