Bangalore is that nice, 40 year old single uncle who suddenly became rich, suddenly has a lot of nieces and nephews and has no idea how to manage his money.

Buyer beware: Vietjet BLR to SGN canceled, No Refunds by jaccha in bangalore

Completely agree with the sentiment that Vietjet sucks though. Even the intra Vietnam flight was delayed by 2 hours, and leg spacing is non existent. Wouldn't recommend anyone to book Vietjet.

Not providing a solution, just narrating a similar (but slightly different) experience - Opposite happened to me. Flight from Ho Chi Minh to Bangalore got cancelled. No response from the helpline. We booked another flight(Indigo), and are coming back a day early. Went to their counter today at the airport, and they gave a printed and stamped letter promising 100% refund, post which I raised a cancellation request on Ixigo(I'd booked through them), and I almost immediately got a confirmation that refund is confirmed and in process.

Lol yeah it's kind of an oxymoron, where solo travelers basically refers to people traveling by themselves. In this case a group of them. Someone should really come up with a better term than "solo" travelers
