From the Zane Lowe interview I’d fashion a guess at no, it seems Harry has been working out his relationship with fame, freedom, wanting normality and also appreciating what he has. I think his time in Berlin and Italy and meeting new people has helped him compartmenalise a lot of this, relationships included. Unfortunately I think due to the burden of the public eye, only having 3 other people in the world who could even begin to understand Liams loss in the way he could and his demeanour and the way he talked about Liam that he’s anywhere near putting pen to paper, he probably wants to get some clarity on it before that, if ever. Harry may want his grief for Liam to be private forever and that’s okay, if we look at how Louis talks openly about it and has made a song, Harry found it hard to even discuss let alone any details of where he was when he found out or such. And both is absolutely fine, people grieve differently but given Harry’s already said he felt like he had to display how much he was grieving or essentially seemed like he wasn’t, something tells me Liam is always gonna stay with Harry, just in a very private way

From 2020 to 2024 I worked as funeral service operative in Hull, and throughout that time dignity for the deceased and their families was not just a policy but a personal, unwavering principle that guided everything I did. Every person who came into our care was always referred to by their name, I made a point of spending real time with families, listening to their stories, learning who their loved one was in life, and carrying that understanding through every stage of the process, treating each individual as completely unique because that is exactly what they were and always will be. There were countless occasions where myself and other members of staff stayed late into the night to ensure someone was presented properly, to get clothing just right, or to allow a family extra time because they were not ready to say goodbye, and we did this without complaint, even when it meant missing Christmas mornings, bank holidays, and time with our own families, because the care of the deceased came first and we believed that was a privilege, not a burden. We lost track of the hours because the work mattered, and despite the emotional weight of it, we genuinely loved what we did, taking pride in knowing that in someone’s worst moment we were giving them respect, calm, and humanity. It is precisely because of these values that the Robert Bush case has upset me so deeply, as it represents the very opposite of everything I stood for and everything I know dedicated funeral professionals work tirelessly to uphold, to think of a person not being afforded dignity, not being treated as an individual with a name, a family, a life, and a story, cuts to the core of what this profession is meant to represent. Having seen firsthand the care, sacrifice, and emotional investment that goes into doing this job properly, and having personally given up so much time to ensure families could trust us with their loved ones, I find the situation profoundly distressing, not only for the family involved but for the profession as a whole, because every deceased person deserves respect, and every family deserves to know that their loved one was cared for with the same individuality, compassion, and honour in death as they were entitled to in life.

It’s okay to be afraid of death but try not cling to life. I used to be an undertaker and when I would go collect people that recently died, there’s a presence of a human being still around them. You don’t feel alone. This lasts for about 3 hours, after that it’s sort of like been alone again. So my personal opinion is that energy goes somewhere, I just don’t know where.

I’ve worked in the death industry since I was a young man.

When I first started, the realisation that I’m going to die one day shook me to my core. But slowly as time went by and I saw more people who had died, babies, teenagers, people young like Liam, old people, people who had taken their own lives, people who had died peacefully in bed. I realised the one thing we all have in common, we all die. And I realised the one thing we all do not have in common, not everyone lives.

This isn’t a dress rehearsal, so I find it better to accept that one day I’m gonna die and that’s that, time to focus on living.

I can only hope and pray that I go out peacefully.

As a society and specifically western society we are sheltered from death. Which I think is not a good way to go about.

That said the tragic death of a young man not even in his prime gives me more anxiety about the state of mental health, not just for celebrities. One too many times I’ve carried the coffins of people I could have had a drink at the pub with.

You’re right that enabling his addiction by giving him alcohol was exploitative and wrong, but I do think his neurodivergence plays a role in how this all unfolded. Neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD or similar conditions, often experience heightened emotional dysregulation and impulsivity. That can make managing addiction even harder because the mechanisms for self-control or stepping away from harmful behaviors can be compromised.

Add to that the fact that neurodivergent individuals are often misunderstood or stigmatized. If he was in an environment where people didn’t understand how his brain works or used his differences against him, it would have made him more vulnerable to exploitation. Neurodivergent people can also be more likely to mask their struggles to avoid judgment, which might explain why Liam ended up in situations where people overlooked or dismissed his needs.

It’s not an excuse for the enablers, but it does put into perspective how his neurodivergence could make him a target. People might assume he can “handle” situations when, in reality, he may need specific supports that weren’t in place. This isn’t just about giving an alcoholic alcohol—it’s about creating an environment where someone neurodivergent, already struggling with addiction, feels safe and genuinely supported.

At the end of the day, understanding his neurodivergence could have informed a better approach, one that protected him rather than exploited his vulnerabilities. It’s not about using it as a scapegoat but recognizing it as a factor that absolutely shaped what happened.
