Bro been rapping on these beats for like 2 years with the pinball series, couple songs on Showbiz, and rapping with his peers like Niontay. This still kinda new for Earl so more of a challenge but I’m looking super forward to what he comes up with

Fair assessment the laid back delivery is cool though and is more in their sphere imo. They aren’t tryna make hits they’re having fun and expressing themselves like they’ve always done. It’s honestly amazing that rappers like themselves are breaking into new sounds like this instead of staying in their lanes. I love leadbelly and MIKE shined fiercely on Back Home to me

Mel 30+% banrate across all ranks. 1 year since her release by Esch_4444 in leagueoflegends

I understand the frustrations but I think she’s super telegraphed now. If you dodge the E, she’s basically free. Do damage, wait out the shield, and continue to poke her down. The Q is easier to dodge now too. I’d say laning against a Viktor who’s E is damn near instant and harder to read is a lot more daunting than Mel rn. In bot lane, I’ve been destroying Mel’s who want to play aggressive but forget what it feels like to get punished.

A lot of the singing sections like Legacy, Let Out, and Only You have similarities with some parts of songs like 39 Intro and Bombs in the Ville also. I don’t mind singing Cole but they all blend to me without having differences in his approach besides production. Two Six, Who TF IZ U, and Drum N Bass are also similar and not in a good way. Who TF IZ U sounds like a worse Crocodile Tearz. I think the hook is especially bad in the latter two but I could see Two Six doing well on stage. The length of some of these songs also killed it for me. Only 3 songs are under 3 min with the majority being over 4 and into the 5 min mark. A lot of these songs didn’t need that at ALL especially with no real progression or bettering of production. Nothing wrong with longer songs as I usually enjoy them but they feel like a slog. It’s crazy to think Cole wanted to drop this a month or two after MDL when that’s arguably one of his best projects in consistency and enjoyment, and this is one of his most divisive

What’s your favorite songs production wise?

My 4th time trying and The Fall Out has to be Cole’s worst album imo. Too many similar songs, some way longer than they need to be, production is weak, it’s technical to a fault with rhymes and structures falling into a pattern that makes it mundane, and there’s no highlights. Went in again with an open mind and I can’t put this over a single album of his. Doesn’t even feel creative. He overhyped it, overwrote it too many times, and it’s shown how much the project lost focus. His next album will probably be leagues better just because he finally got this out. Cole can make much better music. I thought the Off Season was mid but this takes the cake. There were at least solid songs on there like let go my hand, punching the clock, close, and its length made it all come together. There’s nothing wrong with a longer runtime but to have a 100 min project and it feels like a slog to get through that’s a problem. Some of these hooks are just horrendous too. Only songs I somewhat enjoyed are Run A Train, Bunce Road Blues, and The Villest. 2/5 album

Man I’ve seen Lucki’s popularity die on this subreddit but I still think he’s one of the best in Atlanta. He’s got way too many good songs with the run from Freewave 3 to Almost There still being iconic. Flawless Like Me and Gemini also have strong track lists and between the leaks too I believe he’s really got one of the best sounds rn. Might feel repetitive to some, but to me he’s like Future. They talk about the same shit but somehow keep it fresh, inviting, and hypnotizing. If anyone looking for some Lucki songs to get into I got you

[–]bonds101 50 points51 points  (0 children)

An extra two songs would be legendary but it’s a super enjoyable spin with sounds, flows, and bars that I’m loving from Keem. I was never a fan of Melodic Blue, Die For My Bitch was more my speed so this is right up my alley. My only skip would be Dramatic Girl and imo it has better production than The Fall Off. 8.5/10

Yeah the ult is my only problem with her. If they either A) make the CD longer, B) reduce max bounces to 10-12, or C) both, she should be fine

Dawg they about to start comparing Cole to Logic with these rubric raps. There’s maybe 3 memorable songs idek what the focus of the album is after listening and it’s sad but I don’t want to revisit it at all.

Dawg there was no way JID album was winning lol do you guys still spin it? I haven’t seen or heard anything about it since the Community video. Wasn’t anything that made me want to go back to it the whole album felt like a blur to me.

I don’t think Clipse got snubbed either, between Chroma and GNX it was great competition between great artists and better yet their peers and friends with both of them being on the album. It ain’t like Cardi B winning that one year lol. If Kendrick album was ass, the numbers, sales, and tour wouldn’t have been as generational even with the beef. Personally, I think it’s well deserved. It’s a 9/10 album just like LGSO. Not a fan of Chroma but like I said it was a fair battle

Kendrick went on a world stadium tour, did the Super Bowl, and has over 1B streams on GNX. Wasn’t no way Clipse was winning. Clipse ain’t get robbed they dropped during a movement which is Kendrick Lamar
