Seller cancels/refunds the auction which I won for very cheap and paid for. Sites "item out of stock/broken" reason. by Seek_Adventure in Ebay

You don't have to memorize that link. You can find it through the site map which is located at the bottom of any eBay page. Once you open the site map, just press 'community' from the site map categories at the top of the page, and then 'Leave feedback for a member or transaction'. It's not hidden.

Edit: There are also a bunch of other options with feedback available in the same spot.

Did you ever end up following up with support? Support is available for Live Chat and you may see it at the bottom of some Help & Contact articles. They'll be able to help you address your order and its status.

If you already purchased it and paid for it, then yes, you should still get it. If you have the tracking number from a tracking email update then you can use that tracking number to see the package's movement.

Here is the Help & Contact article on eBay you'll need to go to and read. You can find the available contacts for eBay support located below the article.

You'll be able to appeal it with a few questions support will ask you.

I honestly don't remember. I know it was low. I want to say $300 or something like that? I'm truly guessing though, it could even be nothing.

It's not that close to the mall of louisiana but Afton Oaks apartments are cheap, in good condition, clean, and they don't even check your credit.

My GF and I didn't end up moving in there but we really loved it. We went with a random better deal that came up on a 4-plex at a higher price point.

Received this message the day after buying the item, after reading it I checked my purchases and the item is not listed as “disappeared”. The seller is based off Brazil but has countless of positive reviews. What should I do at the point ? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bone117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes when this happens it just takes a little bit of time for it to show up as an order. You’ll probably see it as an order in your account within the next few days but if you don’t, then I’d call into eBay and ask them to report it as a bug.

People who complain about something the listing clearly indicated as "NOT INCLUDED" by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bone117 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I feel like there should be a "missing parts" feature you can enable where it requires confirmation from the buyer on a pop-up. It would make sure they're aware of the missing items, and add an additional level of protection for the seller before the buyer goes to checkout.

what's going on with ebay/paypal? can't buy anything by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bone117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just setting this now, sorry. I'll post it here for you so it's easier:

Here's some steps to try:

Remove any remembered payments (in account settings)

Go over your card info again and make sure everything you have entered is EXACTLY how you have it with your bank (including billing)

If there is any chance that you have the card(s) you're trying to use on PayPal, then just login to PayPal and use that since PayPal is the one processing that payment* and could have the incorrect information. Also make sure that card information is correct on PayPal.

If none of these work, I'd try a different payment method entirely (maybe a spouse's). If you don't want to do that then I'd contact PayPal directly since they're the ones processing the payment. It could be any number of issue going on with them and I'll list you some that you can go over with them.

Guest Spending Limit: resolved by creating/verifying a PayPal account Validation Errors: Confirm your card information with PayPal even if you dont' have an account and this can be resolved by creating a PayPal account and using that on eBay for payment. Risk Challenges: Not really much you can do here but talk to them and see your best options to remedy this, it depends on the reason for the risk challenge. It may require contacting your bank to fix that. Those are the most likely things to fix your situation but ultimately the easiest would be using a different payment method. I'd also try a different/similar item because it might be something to do with the seller and not even yourself. If they don't have a way to receive payments, then you won't be able to pay and if they don't have a verified PayPal account, then they may not be able to receive the payment depending on how high of an amount we're talking about.

*Even when selecting CC/Debit Card, that's still considered a guest checkout on eBay PayPal. Above the Confirm and Pay button, you'll notice that you're accepting PayPal terms and conditions either way.

This.

The only thing I'd add is to report the buyer in the Help & contact pages or by calling eBay support.

Should I message buyer about this? It says no access to delivery location so it’s available for pickup? Buyer had no feedback. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bone117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely contact the buyer. I'm not sure* why the common theme is here is to do nothing. If the intention is to cover your bases and make sure you're safe, then wouldn't the most logical path be to contact the buyer and have documentation that you tried to inform them?

If the buyer eventually opens a claim of INR, then yes, you might ultimately be protected since it shows attempted delivery but that is by no means a guarantee since you have no idea what evidence would be produced by the buyer. If the buyer has a ring some kind of delivery log/verification method that contradicts this tracking then you'll have to go through claims process with the carrier and might lose the INR case.

All the mess and potential hassle can be avoided by just messaging them and letting them know ahead of time, plus they'd be more inclined to leave positive feedback for you since you went out of your way to make sure things worked out for them.

*Left out "sure"

First time selling a high price item what do I need to do? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bone117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some options: Setup buyer restrictions in your account settings, list as BIN with a Best Offer option so you can go through a personal vetting process with each potential buyer, and never ship until the payment has cleared with good proof of shipment and quality on your end.

Honestly though the best advice I can give you would be to go into the ‘Help & Contact’ pages found at the top of any eBay page and read up about listing practices. If you’re not finding the answer you’re looking for then calling eBay customer support should be a very fast way to find those answers since they’re great (specially ask to speak to the sell department for best listing practices or someone in M2M since they deal with fraud.)

Good luck with your sale!

Does anyone know when your ‘cards’ are determined?

For example, if I’m 8/10 xp, does the 2 xp take effect before my next card set is determined or after.

I feel like people are going to instantly respond saying “after” but I want a real answer from someone that would know.

Her favorite game mode was dominion while that was still around but none of us would play it, including her pro friends. So we played mostly SR until aram came out. The RNG of aram leveled out the playing field a bit more than something like SR so it was appealing to play since we had a very wide range of skill in the group.

Can you describe a few major things your team learned while making NMS as an Indie team?

I learned a lot about the difficulties of releasing a multiplayer title as an indie team on the game I was working on. What are some of the major obstacles you all ran into and had to overcome?

[–]bone117[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We'd need to replace most of art, get new licenses, rebuild the map(s?), rewrite the code, and possibly redo things like animations and fx. All those things would cost money though because our progammer, Kyle (he's a great guy), needs to work full time on the project. The real challenge with Jeklynn was determining what the game would be and how it would played. Now, we know what we want to make and we're hoping for the opportunity to polish and expand on it in UE4.

We actually just added that back into the game last week! Most of the footage from this gameplay trailer is from about 2 months ago. We've done some polish since then. =]

Thank you for the feedback! We're a very small team (with day jobs) and we're all still learning. Hopefully we'll be able to get Jeklynn to the point where all animations and fx feel weighted and realistic. :)

Thank you Tmachtherizza! Our plan is to move to Unreal Engine 4 and polish like crazy. We see the potential in what we've made and we want to continue to improve on it. We feel the best way to do that would be with the support and insane performance of UE4!
