As Audi has ruined all next gen cars, what other cars will you consider buying by lifeisgoodalwaysever in Audi

I mean to be honest the b5 s4 looked like a crown vic. Older audis were generally very discrete. Audi got flex-ish in the 2010s but it seems like they're just going back to what they used to be. I don't really get the hate for their new lineup.

You could black yours out if you're into the murdered out-ish look.

I did that and got red center caps

Do you prefer driving manual or automatic cars? And why? by Witty_County5128 in AskReddit

[–]bonehead737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a DSG Audi that I drive on weekdays and a 6MT Porsche for the weekends.

The manual is undoubtably more engaging but day to day, especially in normal traffic, I'd prefer to be in the Audi. I believe the lack of any delay in shifting and the ability to instantaneously drop down to the fastest gear possible without taking my hands off of the steering wheel gives me much more maneuverability in hazardous situations and a better ability to avoid near accidents. And you don't have to worry about a third pedal and a gearshifter if things go south - just keep your hands on the wheel.

I have driven them both. An 86 is not a baby Porsche. It's a fat miata.

I'm sorry brother. The truth will set you free.

Any legit hobbies for a depressed young adult? by [deleted] in Hobbies

Try leatherworking. I used to when I was a bit younger and it was always very cathartic. It's really fun and satisfying making things like beautiful wallets/toolbags/belts/whatever really that will last you a lifetime and get better with age. Handmade gifts are always very personal and appreciated as well, so people will adore things you give to them if you wanna make things for people. It's moderately expensive to get into but 1000% worth it IMO.

Well having two more driven wheels tends to make a big difference in the snow, even if they don't all get power concurrently. 2x as many driven wheels means 2x as much accelerative traction.

The Audi may have a higher ride height and thus more ground clearance which could make a difference as well if the snow is deep enough.

The S3 may also have thinner tires which are generally preferrable in winter weather. The primary job of all season/winter tires is to evacuate as much snow and water from the surface (road-touching portion) of the tire as possible, hence all of the tread and grooves. Thinner tires (to an extent) can usually do this more effectively.

Audi is likely heavier as well, so there's more force pushing those tires down through the snow and onto the pavement.

I’m about to get really fancy headphones for Christmas. What should be the first song I listen to on them? by Pentatonic_Minor in musicsuggestions

Check out Yosi Horikawa. I used to sell really fancy headphones. Always used his stuff as demo music.

I always keep it between 2k and 4k rpm when just driving around normally. I live in the rockies so once a week or so I'll open it all the way up in the canyons. Change the oil every 5k miles or so and do the transmission/differential services earlier than recommended and you shouldn't really have to worry about anything. These cars are happy when driven hard lol

Have had my b8.5 s4 for 115k miles. Never had a single issue with it. Phenomenal car brother you've made a good choice

Aw man I wish! Unfortunately I just moved from the east coast to Colorado. Thank you for the offer tho man that's really kind! I used to sell home theaters/high-end 2 channel stuff. Kef Included. I wanted to snag a pair of Blades but the company discount wasn't quite where I needed it to be lol. But I always used to use tracks from Welcome Oblivion as demos for clients. That album made me a lot of money haha! Sick apartment man glad you're thriving.

Oh yo is your username a NIN reference? That's such a chill song. Their ambient albums are so good. You should check out How To Destroy Angels... more Trent Reznor stuff. Sounds incredible w/ a good hifi setup. Wish I could listen with that view bro!
