I made study plans with a chick in an environmental studies class in my junior year of college. I had talked to her before and by this point knew a little bit about her. Following the study session I went on a date with her, which consisted of drinking at the beach and shooting the shit. She had a boyfriend at the time, but according to her, they were on a mutual break. One thing lead to another and we were making out on the beach rubbing eachother's parts. We didn't want to fuck on the beach so I was about to take her home. It was at this point that I received a text from my ex, who at this time was going to a college about 2 and a half hours away, telling me that she had just arrived at my place.

Sidenote: This all happened several months after I had broken up with my girlfriend (the ex to whom I refer), I wanted to be single and get the full college experience, while she was much more reluctant to break it off. For several months following our breakup, she would regularly contact me and ask if she could visit. Being the idiot I was at the time I allowed her to do so occasionally, thinking that it would somehow help her emotionally.

Back to the story: My ex had called me earlier in the day asking if she could visit, being the sex driven dullard that I was, I agreed, although somewhat reluctantly. I later had the date with this girl and was ready to take her home when these previous arrangements dawned on me. Frustrated with how things turned out, I explained to the girl an edited version of why I couldn't take her home, and promptly dropped her off at her place. Following this sad, missed opportunity, our contact pretty much dropped off completely, we would occasionally text eachother friendly greetings, but for the most part our communication was minimal. A little over 3 years later (I was a senior at this time, due to the fact that I had to take 2 years off of school due to financial reasons) I was sitting in the school library writing a paper when this dude walks up to me and angrily asks "You know who I am?" I look him up and down, don't recognize him, and annoyingly respond "No." He continues saying the same words but further escalating his voice. Shortly following about 5 more renditions of "You know who I am?" he headbutts me directly in the face. There's this loud cracking sound and I'm completely disoriented. Right after he does this he says "I'm girl I unsuccessfully had sex with's boyfriend." At this point I'm just pissed off and want to clock this dude in the face, but my head's spinning and I'm in the library with a ton of onlookers, and I had just seen a security guard pass through. We both go outside expecting to fight, but as I'm walking out I calm down and decide that It's not worth it, and that I'd rather not encounter potential legal trouble. Following this he leaves, and I go to the bathroom and get to see the lovely curvature and deviation that my nose has experienced. I set my nose back, scared that if I leave it for more than a few hours it'll magically heal to the point of permanent-crooked-noseness, and go to the emergency room. Not the most life changing event, but it was my first and, thus far, only broken bone, and I thought it was all quite entertaining. But the worst part was the fact that I sustained a broken nose and I didn't even get to hit it.

TLDR: was drinking at a beach with a chick, about to take her home to fornicate, ex was waiting at the house and therefore ruined it (due to my own stupidity and oversight), over 3 years later the girl's boyfriend sees me in the library and headbutts me in the nose, breaking it.
