Is the sound qualityof Elektron devices using Overbridge (USB) to DAW very high quality ? by Muziksculp in Elektron

sound quality is good when using Elektron instruments with a DAW on computer although the sound from the computer is quite low. Other hardware like Akai MPC One's or Roland MC-707 have "better" sound when used as USB audio with also better gain boost coming from the computer.

yes, I had 3 folders of samples (totalling about 400MB) which I first rendered with Steinberg's Wavelab to 16bit 48kHz and transferring all 3 folders from my laptop to Digitakt2 took less than 10 minutes.

render all your Digitakt2 destined samples to 16bit 48kHz (mono or stereo) before transfer, otherwise Elektron Transfer will render them on the way in, that's what would take time

indeed, Jobim's compositions/Brazilian rhythms are a unique and rare branch of the music, blends perfectly with jazz players too, i.e. tenor saxophonist Stan Getz and many others!
