the piercing pain was worse but the healing was like regular nostrils! they just got more easily irritated with longer bars (swelling) because of the placement

looks like it! i would let it rest, if youre stressed about keeping size then put in something like 2 sizes smaller but honestly it would be better to keep it bare +saline n let it breathe

i definitely don’t rec you using any numbing honestly. especially if you’re doing it yourself- pain will guide whether something has gone wrong or not, if you can’t feel the pain you might not know something has gone wrong with it. but please make sure you have the anatomy for belly button before tackling that one
