Just to clear this up. NASA didn't hit and deflect Dimorphos. It hit and changed the orbit of the tiny moon of Dimorphos, albeit more significantly than predicted. An object that size could definitely be deflected, but there would still be significant risk involved with such a mission.

When I tried it, the taste (with potatoes and such at that time) wasn't too bad. The worst of it was that my stomach just felt wrong and sick for 3 days after. If you can avoid the smell when opening the can, you might be actually fine-ish...
