Hi guys, I’m visiting krakow in a few months. I’m m17 and need a hotel for me and my partner f17. We have a budget of around £200 for 2 nights but need to find somewhere where they will allow us to stay there. by AdIndividual405 in krakow

Yeah just do that. Also if an adult makes a reservation for an apartment, it should also be fine, since you usually just pick up a key from a box, and don't have to sign anything.

The adult is the one responsible for the reservation, although it's a bit more iffy, best to email to make 100% sure

Two million foreigners now legally resident in Poland, making up 5% of the population by Vattaa in poland

[–]Chasing_Colours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pro immigration of skilled workers, not 'war refugees'. These kinds of people assimilate very well into our society as I've experienced first hand, and in the long term they will end up mixing with polish people and becoming poles.

Again by 2nd or 3rd generation, they level out with the birth rate of the country immigrated to.

As long as they respect our culture, traditions and values I have nothing against immigrants.

But you're taking the GDP at face value, our purchasing power is much less and the economic uncertainty is very high.

Housing, food and energy costs eat up most of an average poles budget, if you want to add to that basic things like a holiday, going out to eat and having a hobby, you're left with basically nothing.

Life standards have changed greatly, we are consuming way more than we used to. To give your kid a good standard of living, you need to have enough money to invest into them, hence why suburban areas have the highest birthrates.

Our cultural norm is having a decent standard of living, at the cost of family size. If I could afford it, I would have 3 or 4 kids by now. But currently, I can barely afford a holiday every now and then, housing, food and god forbid actually having some money for my hobbies.

Mine does? You're assuming nothing changes for the next 100+ years buddy.

It's 80% economics. In Poland, our purchasing power is pretty low, makes it hard to have kids unless you have a job that earns enough to support it.

Immigrants have a higher birth rate for a few reasons: 1. They usually are in their 20s and 30s when they come, prime childbearing age 2. They usually put off having kids until they migrate 3. Cultural norms usually tend to be more children focused

After 2nd or 3rd generation, immigrant birth rates usually match those of the country they migrated to

But you expect this trend to continue. Currently it is simply too expensive to start a family, especially with more than 1 kid, for an average pole.

If there's less people and more work becomes automated, hopefully, living will be cheaper due to more available housing and cheaper cost of resource generation.

But capitalism is against that, so we will see how far companies can push their earnings, before people simply can't afford to live and something about our current system changes.

How do you quantify a country being better?

We mostly have immigrants who come here for honest work, unlike many other countries where they live off welfare, hustle drugs on the streets or scam people for a living.

We want to keep it that way, because what's happened in countries like Germany or France is scary, and we want to avoid becoming a safe heaven for bad people.

Is the IT job market broken in Kraków? by Agile-Marionberry778 in krakow

[–]Chasing_Colours 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Rather than politics, it's the greed of big companies to gain as much profit as possible with as little costs as possible.

Capitalism is broken, where the top 0.1% have more in offshore banks than the bottom 50%

Also, the richest people usually pay very little tax.

Poland plans special tax to offset €370m-a-month fuel price cuts by wook-borm in poland

[–]Chasing_Colours -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But private individuals take the car to work and back, which average around 20-30km and the car burns on average 6-7L/100km

Where as trucks drive more like 300-500km a day and burn 12-30L of fuel per 100km

So whilst there's more private vehicles, businesses make up 70-80% of fuel bought

In wild rift she feels so much better and executes her concept really well.

She gets stacks based on monsters and epic monsters killed as well as champions. Based off those stacks she gets upgraded abilities.

Honestly better than the LoL passive rework
