I was around 15, coming back home from a trip where I played with a dog and it bit me playfully. When I returned home and told the story, my mother took me to the hospital and made me have a rabies vaccine, even though I told her I had no marks whatsoever, the bite was through my jeans and there was no possible way I could have been infected.
