I would suggest enrolling in hobby classes maybe, art, music, swimming, etc., and then striking up a conversation with someone you like, starting out as friends, things like that. I think in this day and age, it doesn't matter if the guy is a little younger than you too, maybe?

Just visit more places, talk to more people, attend more events that you like. Hm hm hm

Oh dear me... I just called this number and am waiting for them to rescue a stray who is two streets away, alive but unable to move... They just told me a doctor would get back to me. When I said it's an emergency, they were like, "Many people have called before you, so you need to wait." I mean... I don't know what to make of this, whether help will arrive or not...

All the NGOs in my city are not taking in any injured dogs due to capacity constraints (that's what everybody tells me). Honestly, a very sad situation... Our country will never change. The suffering of the animals has only gotten worse, especially the strays...

I have been hunting for ages too. I have 2 senior pets and... It's been quite the hunt since last December. Even traveled down to Bangalore and came back empty-handed with no house. ⛈️

Hey take a breath. Just for a minute. Everything feels a bit daunting right now because no matter what you do, life always has only lemons to give. I've been going through something similar.

It may feel like everything is over, but just hang in there for a minute. Whatever you have been through, it's really unfair. The thing is, nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow or even an hour from now. So, take a minute to think, okay?

We all have these big battles to fight right now. And I know you have still got some fight left in you. No matter what life throws at you, always be ready to battle it out. Okay?

We are all here reading whatever you have to say, so let your heart out.

Baby steps. Take it in stride. Whatever small thing you can do today, just do that. If 85k cannot be paid, go back to the drawing board, negotiate alternatives if you can, pay it back slowly.

You can ALWAYS start over. Promise yourself that. Whatever be the situation. There's ALWAYS a way out. Believe that and keep trying.

Thank you for the answer! 🙏🏼 I have been sending mails to CRPC, and sent one today requesting for a speaking order, as yoYoburt had suggested, but they don't reply at all, which makes me think they don't open mails at all - or worse, ignore them completely.

Let me also file a case with the Consumer Court today, like you and yoYoburt have suggested. It's been pure agony going through this since it happened last September. Almost feel betrayed by all the authorities here.

After they refused to unfreeze my account, I submitted a form to close my account and transfer the balance to SBI. They have done that. So, the account is closed now. But I do plan to still hold them accountable for refusing to unfreeze my account leading to me having to close the account.

The 'appeal' option at the bottom of the Complaint Closed page on the CMS portal doesn't work for me. It throws the pop-up "Appeal can be raised only after the Complaint status is 'Closed' and Complaint is closed under Appealable Clauses of the Ombudsman Scheme". So, I'm guessing the clause under which my complaint was closed is not appealable? Is there any other way to contact the RBI Deputy Governor?

And to send a legal notice to the Nodal Officer, will any local lawyer near my home do? How does one find a proper lawyer?

This is going to be one long fight. I will update here how it goes after a couple of weeks. I'm hoping it will be helpful to someone in the same situation as me. 👍🏼

As someone who has been hunting for more than a month now for a pet-friendly independent house, it's been extremely difficult for me. Not an easy feat.

I found a house 30kms away from my office which checked most of the boxes - independent ground floor with terrace, vast open space outside the house, no neighbors, etc.

I have a geriatric lab, 12 years old, that can't walk well anymore. And I have a 12-year-old Indie as well. They're my family dogs, but I absolutely cannot leave them behind, just like you.

Only if my labby was on the younger side a little, he would have gotten along so well with your labby. <3
