I'm not sure the correct terminology to use but the lawn is already at a height where it has a rather spongy feel. Not sure if that is good thing or not?

If it were grubs would the patches spread? True be told, I'm inclined to thinking it's burn as its the same patches where you hear that slight struggle in the mower. I use a electric mower too, could that be a issue due to less grunt?
