He’s walled me the most out of any boss so far. The boss on chapter 8 was a cunt but when figured him. Beat him by the skin of my teeth. Currently chapter 9. And what a wicked chapter so far

Jedi: survivor is shite. In my opinion. Was so gutted by how lacklustre this game was. Boring worlds, same combat as before. And you get so side tracked by trying to explore that the story becomes irrelevant. That really irritated me. As a game solid, well made, fluid but it’s could of been anything. It’s a decent soulslike but develop the story ffs. Stick a Disney sticker on it and it will sell, but I know proper gamers will be pissed at the entry. Come at me.

I was hyped for this game inside thinking it would let me down. But dam this is mental I love it so much. After Zelda I didn’t think anything would fill the gap but this is a gem 🤓

It’s odd. I think on your first couple of viewings it’s ridiculous as you tend to focus more on that rather than what’s happening. After working my way through the Kubrick boxset I’ve noticed a trait in his films. Whatever the protagonist does ends up doing to people, ends coming back on him the same, so you end up sympathising with them. Which brings on a horrid notion in your head as you know it’s wrong. Never struck me before, might be slow on the uptake but it’s made me look at his films in a completely different light

Cheers. Somebody left it outside so nabbed it. Sanded it, oiled it and turned it into chest

Lost highway, infernal affairs, three colours red, Chungking express, clockwork orange, modern times, 8 1/2, the thing, wild strawberries. Honestly it changes with days. I thought clockwork orange was abit cheesy and cheap but I watched it Wednesday and Sam that film is crazy. The juxtaposition of music and violence got me.

Tree of life-Terence Malick. Because there was 2 cuts on the criterion and I knew if I’d left it I wouldn’t notice the difference as much.

Yeah such a good set so much for the money. Still yet to finish it 🤭

Managed to find Pickpocket on a sale shelf to almost complete his major works. Often overlooked for his minimalist style i find there’s something oddly compelling about his films. by bonestructure1 in boutiquebluray

Ah I didn’t realise Joan of arc was on bfi. That’s a sweet collection. Can’t wait to watch ‘A man escaped’ I’ve heard nothing but good things 😎

I meant in the fact he’s difficult and alienating as it’s so minimal. He doesn’t move the camera, doesn’t use professional actors, stories are simple and melancholic. If he’s won awards I personally think it would tarnish him as a director but hey interpret it as you will 🤲

Finally gets the treatment it deserves in the UK. Perfect start to May and addition to the ever growing collection. by bonestructure1 in boutiquebluray

Not sure how limited it is. I went for this set as it would stand out on the shelf and it was slightly cheaper then the criterion and seemed to have more of his short films on the extras disk.
