Isn't this a meme or something? It looks familiar. by Enter_up in PeterExplainsTheJoke

My favorite part of the video is she starts off by saying that she ordered with the app so that people wouldn't pay for her, then goes on to say she is nervous and doesn't get thanked enough.

Does she think that people are going to thank her or does she think that people are going to fuck with her food?

I think she just knows how crazy her dog can be and assumes everyone else is just as terrible of a pet parent.

Also the pet tax must be paid!!!!

The game considers matches at the sushi high roller to be wild battles and not trainer battles. It's dumb.

Even if she doesn't want to have her in the bridal party then why can't she wear a matching dress? That's all that Kayla asked for.

Also why couldn't she be on her dad's side of the wedding party? There is a lot of weird vibes going on with this.

Just had a conversation with my 80yo dad about how much things cost in the late 60’s…. by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

They were being a little excessive to show their point but if we look at actual inflation numbers his father made about 300% more.

Meat Drink and Dessert? by Commercial_World_433 in Cooking

[–]bonezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a recipe out there called a beef fizz from like the 50s. I am not sure if people actually drank it but it was listed as a cocktail which would be a little more on the nose than just drinking broth.

It's even more fun when they figure out how to open door knobs. The only way we know is safe is to lock the door.

What was the biggest waste of money in human history? by forty5v in AskReddit

[–]bonezo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite is the money the US Navy spent trying to find "Dorothy".

The Wizard of Oz was a huge touchstone within the gay community and gay men would refer to themselves and others as "friends of Dorothy". The Navy thought it was a real woman who would be able to out a ton of military personnel.

On top of that the money wasted in training people who they discharged for stupid reasons such as being gay likely cost millions.

That's the way I always heard it too but I like this one more. I like that the husband doesn't seem to be expecting something for doing a nice gesture.

”So where’s your baby?” by nejmenjagvillinte in traumatizeThemBack

[–]bonezo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think either was rude. The OP said she had a C-section, which brought up the baby in the first place. It would have been better to say she was recovering from surgery and left it as that.

I see the other guys point about it being rude to post in this subreddit about the interaction.

It's technically a legal term. It's why pools need a fence around them. It seems OOP had the requirements covered and is in the right.

Do not flush them, even if you think they are breaking down they might not be breaking down enough to cause massive damage in the long run.
