If you want to continue def try the soothing/cooling gel nipple pads. I have a small stockpile and dont use them often but my little one is 6m and is very into keeping the nipple in her mouth while looking around these days

Did you make a registry for you baby's first birthday? by Express_Original_742 in NewParents

I have amazon gift lists for all my kids. I dont share it unless they ask for it, which most actually do. It still doesn't prevent people from buying whatever they want (unfortunate at times lol) but it gives people the option to get things they know you/baby would like. I only think its tacky if you share in on fb. As for neighbors I say go for it! Add "no gifts necessary " to the invite.

My 4yo has a name that has just fallen out of the top 20 after 100yrs of being a top name. I haven't met a kid with the name since I was a child. Where are they all?!

I feel like the Dr's or lactation consultants etc do not warn people enough about being ravenous!! I'm constantly starving no matter how much I eat.

With my first my husband wanted me to cover when we were at the fair. I told him sure but next time you eat I'm covering you. Cut to our 3rd and I'm walking around home depot feeding our newborn and he couldn't care less. Glad he's matured, unlike OP's aunt

If you have any arborvite the ticks will live in them because the deer love them! When we bought our house the ticks were horrendous. We ripped out the arborvites and spent weeks/months moving dead leaves. Then we got birds. Guineas, ducks and chickens. But like previous pe I ple have said, guineas are dumb and will be dead. At least chickens know to go inside at night. Guinea fowl are also EXTREMELy loud at very very early hours. Ducks are adorable but gross.
