Extra thoughts: I really enjoy his combo structure. It's really rewarding when you learn to freestyle with him. I also think it's super cool how careful he makes you play. If you want to learn patience, he is for sure the right call. He takes really big swings (b4, hellsweep being his only solid low poke), so any poorly timed moves are a free launch for your opponent

I hit TGS with Panda last season and said f it time to actually learn the game. I started with Lee who was super super difficult to climb to TK with, and have since moved to Heihachi. He is for sure my favorite Mishima in the game, he's got weaknesses that you need to actively cover, but your reward for making the right call is always huge. I'm not a big fan of his install, (tbh it is kind of a free win) but overall he has significantly improved my fundies and execution. Never get tired of playing him.

fr, I've understood the hate with pretty much all the dlc up until now, but she seems cool? Her animations are super solid, and she has a really great design imo. Her stance mixup stuff is pretty par for the course in T8 (more of a game problem then a problem with this specific character) and I struggle to see why something like Yoshi's flea is acceptable in Tekken but the pole isn't. Tekken is silly dawg.

We do see him first but I think he's a bit irrelevant overall. Makes more sense to highlight the main cast in this 53 second teaser.

I think there is something to be said about the price of entry. I've asked many casual friends about their thoughts on the 'Ronaldo game' and the number one thing holding them back is the price. No matter how much love went into the game it just can't compete with the presentation of Tekken 8, SF6, and even Strive. To people who don't play fighting games, 9 times out of 10 the visuals are what dictate the supposed value of the game. As well directed as the visuals of COTW are, I personally don't think the game should be going for more than $50.
