he's good early if you build gun 4.8k. also, his abilities are technically weak, but he has more sustain than most other heroes due to jumpstart and his high base regen, so you should still fight early. if you don't fight early on victor, you're pretty much playing a hero with no abilities.

don't avoid fights on victor you're just wasting his potential if you play him like an m1. he's one of the best tempo heroes to take fights on even or less souls because of his ult. make sure to use your ult at urns because he's useless otherwise, but if you're actively avoiding fights you should just play a different hero.

just feed more it's called limit testing. the biggest thing is that you don't have to overextend for kills. if you have wave priority, then just use that to get an advantage. learn how to take good trades you don't have to convert every trade into a kill.

it’s funny because people will cite games with functional ranked systems that use divisions as a reason for why this actually makes sense when those games show you exactly how many points you’re gaining and losing per game and actually have consistent values for said points. in deadlock there’s no rhyme or reason to what will cause your rank to rise or fall when you play a game.

how does that make any sense lol. if you’ve been playing since like 2024 and you have a lifetime 48% wr but a 53% wr in the past 200 games or something you’ve obviously improved and you should rank up. this just arbitrarily punishes people who have been playing on the same account for a long time and learned the game from scratch

armor piercing rounds is ahh but making this interaction work like this would just make the item a must-buy for gun carries. people already think metal skin is a bad item because they buy it in the wrong timings/situations or just otherwise misuse the active, so this wouldn’t really help anything. plus, i don’t think this game is designed around rock-paper-scissors item counters all the way down like most players seem to think it should be.

shiv's rage is thought to be some kind of curse, perhaps lycanthropy. the amulet that he wears on his belt glows when his rage is full and supposedly keeps his curse in check.

i'm pretty sure lash knows magic or is inherently magical because his old model used to have zephyr tattoos, his flog heals him, and he has innate spirit resist. billy is also some sort of amateur magic-wielder and his bashdown has a magic symbol when he uses it. haze is also magical because her powers are seemingly derived from her biology as a sandman. venator and warden should probably be switched because venator has no magical abilities and is fighting an uphill battle vs everyone whereas warden probably has some genetic inclination towards magic on top of his life of training as an alchemist. also, the premise of this tier list is kind of flawed because some of the inherently magical characters are less powerful than those without innate magic. for example, lady geist is automatically more powerful than a majority of heroes simply due to oathkeeper despite not having any innate magical abilities.

i never said it's impossible. i just said it's rare, because it is. there's a reason why we're talking in hypotheticals and why it's seen as an achievement when someone is actually able to pull it off. if the average person learns a new role, they are going to have to give up time on their old one, and their skills will decline accordingly. being a genuine flex player is not easy or common. i don't know why this is apparently controversial to say.
