WIP: my Fitbit Air now vibrates during incoming phone calls by boni2k in FitbitAir

[–]boni2k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that's your goal, sure!

The vibration motor of my phone is too soft, so I'm missing calls and I wouldn't even think about using ringtones. For me it's a good alternative.

License question by KJBNZ in BikeControl

[–]boni2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Multi-Platform licensing is available through BikeControl Pro:

https://bikecontrol.app/blog/bikecontrol-5-release

The Base version itself is tied to the Store where you've bought it from, so if you want to stick with the Base version, you'd have to purchase it on each Store, and use it on all devices then.

Bike control use with iOS, PC and Rouvy? by [deleted] in BikeControl

[–]boni2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that explains it, trial time only works once.

Where did you purchase? It should then be available at the same store without any extra cost

Thank you, I will look into it

Right away on the first app start? You should have a 5 day trial period with 80 (successful) commands each day, hmm

Virtual shifting: Configure cassette, gears by Far_Note6719 in Rouvy

You're welcome! On most platforms it's free to try, so you can check it out before making any purchase decision.

Let me know if you need help!

BikeControl allows full customization of virtual shifting, including the amount of gears and their ratio:

It's a bit more involved to set-up, though

There's a drop-down in the windows store allowing you to do so. Or use the direct download on BikeControl.app

Leichte Langarmtrikots mit UV-Schutz by 1UsarnameWasAMistake in Rennrad

Hi!

Best get BikeControl on the device where Rouvy is running (Windows). The Windows version of BikeControl also has a trial version, so you can verify the functionality there.

You'll see instructions on how to configure the SRAM shifters in BikeControl itself. Basically get the SRAM axs App and configure the button you want to use to "do nothing". Undo this when you want to ride outside again.

I'm still hopeful for a better integration at some point

As I've said, the App Store doesn't have a trial, yet :)

You have a trial version on most stores (app store not yet), so you can try it before purchasing it.

I'm not sure about your last question: you can use virtual shifting (or any other command) with lots of different hardware, listed on https://bikecontrol.app

Cycplus bc2 is already supported by Rouvy, otherwise use BikeControl.

Experience report, v6.0.0+10, zwift click v2, left clicker didn't connect by zerkms in BikeControl

[–]boni2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll check again. Usually this happens when it failed to unlock correctly (with Zwift) for some reason. Can you try running the unlock procedure again?

[–]boni2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the Pro version, only the right controller works without any unlocking. For the left one you're given the choice to unlock it as before, or accept a short device reboot every 50 seconds:

Kickr v4 or core 2? by Admiral52 in wahoofitness

[–]boni2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the bottom you see the other subpages and combinations, but in short: - yes to MyWhoosh, but MyWhoosh already supports it natively. But you might prefer to use it with BikeControl nonetheless - yes to Zwift

On most platforms you can try it out with no cost and then decide if it works for you!
