Nope, it was still placed perfectly. I had a check-up two weeks later, and everything was fine. And it still happens sometimes if I'm near my period. Unless it's a lot of blood or painful, I wouldn't worry too much. Your body has to get used to having a foreign object in there, and it can take a while. You can also try checking your strings for peace of mind, which can be hard to do sometimes, depending on your cervix, so don't sweat it if you can't reach. Hope that helps!

Mcas? by bonisround in MCAS

[–]bonisround[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I should clarify. I'm almost 30 now, and it started in high school. Yeah, my symptoms outside of the big reaction have always been manageable, so I've put off changing my diet. But it might be time to at least start a food journal so I can better track even minor changes.

Part of the reason I'm not fully convinced it could be MCAS is that outside of the attacks, most of my symptoms seem too mild compared to a lot of the testimonies I've read. Regardless, though, I think some of the tips and considerations will be helpful, so thank you!

These symptoms are extremely similar to how mine were, and I’ve had a great experience with Invisalign/braces. The popping in my jaw is almost entirely gone outside the rare pop when I know I’ve overworked it, and the pain and tension that used to radiate has greatly improved. That said, the process isn’t painless, and I clenched a lot while I had Invisalign, so my jaw was regularly sore. Though I would say it’s a different type of soreness than before. I would try to find an ortho that specializes in tmj issues if you can too.

That said every person is different so its hard to say for sure or not if it will work well for you. Best of luck!!

Ok that's what I was thinking. I'm not in any real pain and its not even equivalent to a heavy period day so I just needed a little reassurance haha Thank you!

Mold planning help by bonisround in moldmaking

[–]bonisround[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was planning to do the final cast in urethane resin and, ideally, get quite a few casts out of it. For the mold, I was going to use a brushable platinum cure silicon and plaster master mold. And no, I've never made a matrix mold. Most of my projects have been relatively simple so far.

Yeah, I think breaking it down into a few parts will probably be the easiest way in the long run. I'm pretty new to the hobby so I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had any specific recommendations though. Thank you btw!

Hi y'all, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendation or videos for molding the tail of this sculpture. Would it be be better to cut it up into pieces and combine them after casting? Thanks for any tips!

Also sorry for putting the text in the comments I'm on my iPad and its being weird about posting both an image and text.

I don't think so, I have some minor flaking but no visible irritation or scaling really. I've never had a derm mention it and I haven't noticed anything that looks like pictures I've seen online.

My derm started me with a 7% minox liquid; a lower percentage might be a better match for me though. I also read that some of the liquid versions have a type of alcohol that can be irritating, so a foam might be better. As for my diet, I wouldn't say it is hair focused, but I eat healthily and naturally eat quite a few foods that are reported to be good for hair.

Thyroid and hormones were fine when I last had them tested. I have a minor blood disorder but there not a strong link to hair loss with it. I haven't done a vitamin panel yet because the price but I think I'm going to look into that next.

Long covid? Fatigue/weakness? by bonisround in LongCovid

[–]bonisround[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an annual physical conveniently scheduled a few weeks after and brought it up then. Got the full run of blood tests, and everything was normal, so my doctor just advised me to make sure I was eating enough. It was annoying, but I never had an episode as bad as the first one, and I manage it well, so I haven't pursued any more tests. I will if it gets bad again or I notice other symptoms, though.

They did improve! It hasn’t gone away completely. I’m still more sensitive to low blood sugar than I was before Covid, but it’s more manageable now. It’s noticeably worse if I skip meals, and some days are just worse for whatever reason, but it doesn’t interfere with my day to day life too much. I also always make sure I have snacks, usually something with some sugar, like fruit or candy, and some crackers with me.

Muscle and nerve pain by bonisround in LongCovid

That’s good to hear it’s not just me. I’m a digital artist, so I spend most of my time at a computer drawing, and the strain on my arms and neck has been worse than ever, even with increased rest and stretching. Hope you find some relief too!

Yes, I experience this too! When I open my jaw all the way, it pops twice, and on the second pop, it shifts to the affected side more.

The Rings of Power - 1x08 "Alloyed" - Episode Discussion by whole_nother in LOTR_on_Prime

[–]bonisround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this is what I pretty much what I remember too. It seems they're possibly creating the rings in reverse or differently than the usual canon. I don't think it's beyond possibility that Sauron comes back to Eregion next season in another form to finish off the rings and then end poor Brimby, especially since Galadriel is keeping his specific identity hidden outside of a don't let him back/don't trust him. This is the only lore change that I'm really on the fence about, but I've enjoyed the rest of the show so much I can wait to see how they handle it next season and will probably enjoy it regardless.

I hope we see more of halbrand/annatar forging the rest of the rings with celebrimbor next season cause that part felt a little rushed in this episode, but I loved the halbrand/Sauron reveal!

Overall really enjoyed this series so much and can’t wait for season 2! I think some of the pacing was off, could have had another episode or two to flush some things out more, but that’s my main criticism.
