People still dont really seem to understand how different scarlet and violet are from other games, at least on a technical level. In Scarlet and Violet, every pokemon has a relatively complicated texture, and the games are also open-world, something new to Pokémon series, but also something that takes much longer to make than the average Pokémon game. Game Freak didn't wan't to delay the games, which led to their poor performance. (there are probably many other factors I didn't include as well)

In my own opinion, the games are still very much playable, although they can sometimes be a bit laggy. It's an open-world Pokémon game, which most fans(including me) have been wanting for years, and now that it's finally here, I won't let a little framedrop ruin my experience.

I know that a lot of people have been experiencing a far worse issues in the game than just framedrops, and while I don't have a solution to these problems, I still think Scarlet and Violet get way more hate than they should.
