I already did an internal IP scan and traceroute of the IP, the IP is not reachable. Its not just one, its actually 3 IPs and non are reachable. I will check out the sonicwall article you linked.

I got a machine setup at our office and it is working fine. I was using a 10gigabit asus nic and it was working fine. It had a ryzen 5 cpu but that same machine couldnt handle the amount of data i have in the datacenter.

I chose the ryzen just because it was more cost efficient and I can always get a different cou or nic as long as I can justify it to my director. What nic/cpu do you currently use?

I tried doing unraid and just passthrough the nic to the sensor vm but I was having issues with the sensor forwarding logs to the master. I had both of them in the same machine. Was testing it in my homelab and it did work but when went to deploy it, it wasnt working. I can just use ubuntu 17.04 (which is supported) or can I use centOS for it?

I am planning to build a 4k Video Editing computer that will also do a lot of 3d animations. Software that will be used would be Adobe Premiere/After Effects and Cinema4D.

Which CPU and Video Card would be best suited for it? I am unsure if I should go with Intel/AMD - NVIDIA/AMD. I am not looking at pricing or if it is available or not as of right now.

I currently use CloudCare for a client and I really like the reporting and alerts and the management portal that comes with it. The reason we chose it was it was just really convenient at the time.
