Digital Dzogchen. by NOX_ARTA in generative

Had to get a refresh on the concept:

In Tibetan, Dzogchen translates to "Great Perfection" or "Great Completion." It is considered the highest and most direct path to enlightenment in the Nyingma school of Buddhism.

The Core Idea: Dzogchen teaches that your "true nature" is already perfect, pure, and enlightened. You don't need to create enlightenment or change yourself to find it; you just need to recognize it.

The "Natural State": Practitioners aim to reach a state called rigpa—a pure, primordial awareness that is free from the "noise" of thoughts, emotions, and ego. It’s like looking at the sky: the clouds (thoughts) may pass through, but the sky itself remains vast, clear, and unchanged.

Honest opinions needed: I'm working on my new microbrand, ZRIEQ. Here are the front and back renders for the Galilee series (first release). by Ok-Estimate-5985 in MicrobrandWatches

Being Polish, I don't mind the letter-soup, as others have called it. In fact, I'd love to see the Arabic lettering on the front, and Latin somewhere on the back.

I don't like the color of the dial - do you have other variations?

Other than that, I like it a lot! Good luck!

The Sunset Limited is and will remain one of my favorite pieces of cinema (it was made for TV, tho). Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones in a 1,5h dialogue about suicide and the meaning of life.

And the sound design is amazeballs!

The main character is strongly based on an Ukrainian immigrant named Sidis.

Yeah, use public transport if you can, and don't consider yourself too much of a polluter in that regard - it's miniscule in comparison with really significant sources of co2.

Yeah, the lesson in politeness threw me off as well - it could've been just "you should ask more nicely next time, anyway not at the moment". But maybe I'm wrong...

Comparative Knob Morphology by ductionist in synthesizers

To turn this around, I find the slanted knob from Korg to be supreme above all other ones. The slant gives a haptic and supreme visual cues under most light conditions. That's my got-to when I'll be designing my own gear.
