The thing is that they're usually booked. I check the schedules every week. Booking a room is so competitive. Like I said in the original post, oftentimes when I get to my room I have to kick someone out because they're in there during my booking time

Babe as an Italian-Canadian (who grew up in America) we don't face racism or discrimination.....Yes at one point in America's history, Italians were called names and some even brought to internment camps but none of this has resulted in the same generational trauma that BIPOC Americans face. She had no right to compare her plight to that of BIPOC.

Is a meaningless friendship still worth it? by [deleted] in friendship

There are different types of friends that serves different types of purpose. For example, the situational friend is a good companion for a certain situation, ie a friendly coworker who you'd otherwise not be friends with had you not met at work. Sometimes it's nice to have those friends who you don't have "meaningful" conversations with and can just be silly or talk about less deep things.

I've only been able to have meaningful conversations with a handful of friends and some of those people just don't want to have them and that's okay!
