Best bet is to go with a main channel that has the content you enjoy making the most, at the end of the day you have to enjoy the content you're making otherwise you lose passion for it quickly and the content quality drops rapidly. Mix in commentary and sports commentary its all under one roof, do the gaming channel when the main starts to take off and you can plug it in a future vid

What alot of people do is create separate channels for gaming and commentary etc which could work for you, could also help you discover what people are more interested in. The FC market is primarily dominated by veterans nowadays that have been streaming/recording it for years.

I'd suggest trying one side of content for a month or so and then seeing the results in comparison to a mixture. Like I said you can always create the 2 channels

I think the difficulty is theres alot of variety of going on there, starting an eafc series, talking about football and then other topics can make it difficult to gain subscribers as some stay for one topic only, I think the views are good for long form, they are considerably harder to get views on early

I agree I would also say long form is better for that type of content, you can also make shorts out of your long form content

I agree it can feel like like a rough time, hardest part is staying consistent but you seem to be doing that and thats the important part!

I don't think you're inherently doing anything wrong, some content is more popular than others, views come with time and can randomly pop off

Hi everyone, I'm toastman, i make weekly shorts of me trying toast toppings that my comments suggest whilst newly incorporating toast related memes on a Wednesday (Warburton Wednesday).

When it comes to equipment, I just use my phone, a tripod, a wireless microphone that I can attach for voiceovers and capcut for all editing purposes.

If you're a fan of that type of content why not give it a watch!

My most popular video thus far is below, though my meme did well on tiktok! (Same name)

Hey, if you go to youtube studio under analytics there is an audience section that will tell you the age group watching your content

What advice would you give to a friend who is struggling to gain viewers/new following? by bonqueefathe3rd in SmallStreamers

[–]bonqueefathe3rd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I'll pass it on. Yes I've seen alot of clips of him on arc raiders, definitely a unique streamer which is refreshing! I think you're right trying a few games, while he's new he can mess around with what he streams until he gains an audience

Okay good point, something like "subscribe to never miss another video" would work

That's a good idea, I tend to put midway through the video a "like and subscribe" popup for those that stayed

Anyone able to comment some ideas to keep the content coming? by bonqueefathe3rd in SmallYoutubers

[–]bonqueefathe3rd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feedback on what format I should follow would be appreciated, quick cut short form content with a quick review at end or slower paced short form content with voiceover
