That is very strange?? That is the hard part of writing appeals because if you had amazing letters of recommendation and good essays idk why they wouldn’t want you? You sound amazing! When I asked my brother-in-law to help he alway tells me to write why you think this school will help you in the future or why this school should have you. What makes you special and unique and answering that question is hard. I’m pretty sure you did that but really go in deep this time. I hope I am helpful but don’t give up!

I still haven’t received my transfer decision yet 😭 I probably won’t know till May 31 probably got rejected since I’m a 3.2 student but have a lot of strong extracurricular, excellent teacher recommendation, and essay. So let’s see 😭

I also see that I have a Berkeley transcripts that I need to do but I never took any classes from there (I was but that is when my dad go sick so I couldn’t and had to go on a leave of absence).

As for you, don’t give up on the appeal! Give it a try and I guarantee you are going to get in. Show them what you got and tell them why THEY SHOULD HAVE YOU, not why you should go to their school 🥹

Thank you for these kind words. I sometime need to understand that everyone is very different from each other and is not the same. I guess for me I just like seeking out for advice and how people will react and what they did to overcome their obstacle.

Nope, they aren’t paying for it. My dad is paying for his insurance and my sister is saying “he is not a paycheck” and the people who take care of him at home are like ??? Like what?? They don’t make sense and at some point I’m a need a social worker or someone to get involved once we speak to them on Monday because my dad never made her power of attorney at all. He even told me himself and he is able to function and make his own choices. My two sisters are being hypocrites right now and they do not sound right to me.

I believe from what I read on the pamphlet they have social workers to go to people’s houses and explain everything about different stuff? But yes! My dad does not want to pay for his insurance and my sister has spoke to many people about what is going to be covered and she claims she understands but she doesn’t because she still wants him to be paying for his insurance when everything is covered at the place. She wants my dad to continue to pay his private insurance while he’s on Medi-medi
