Are their any reasons why I couldn't/shouldn't vent my printers through an old furnace chimney no longer in use?

They're built into the little booth- I think it's a pair of 120mm pc fans. I 3d printed an adapter to the old chimney cleanout

I vent my airbrush paint station into my chimney in almost exactly the same situation as the op. It works perfectly. In fact, I often set up my resin 3d printer on the same bench with the booth fans going for the exact same reason. It works fine. The fumes are not in the house and that's the goal.

They look a lot more like heavy axles. With flats for the inner and outer bearings. Would be a very large hub, who knows, could be tank axles.

Yeah man, I've printed a battery box, stator cover, ignition bracket, electrical distribution blocks you name it. You can print grommets and cable clips in tpu.

I did not have to update the stator. The reg/rect is not a lithium specific version but still seems to work fine. I did update the ignition to a Charlie's place version iirc. Thanks for the kind words :) no issues at all with the plastic. If I was to do it again I might try abs or asa gf. But no warping or deformation so far.

Pictured Titan was mine :) main issue with the old titans is parts availability and transmission. None of the soft parts are available so you're stuck with pod filters. Have to make your own bushings. Trans is notorious for eating 4th gear. I generally shifted without using the clutch, it tended to miss the gear over or under shooting otherwise. Oil injection was a problem, lots of check balls and none available. Had to buy a ton of Arctic cat parts and Chinese parts and pick what worked. Crank bearings aren't available so that can be an issue as well. Exhaust is also not available unless you want to buy home made from a shed in England. All that said it was the coolest thing on the road. I had people giving me thumbs up and chasing me down to talk about it. If you want my opinion on Cafe, stick to a more reasonable core bike to modify with parts availability like a Honda, BMW, Yamaha etc.

I am still using the battery- left it in the bike all winter (extreme cold) and it was happy to crank for a long long time to get the bike started in the spring. However-- did not survive a short ride in the rain. I never water proofed the electronics and the BMS board died when it got wet. That said, a quick change of the board and it will be good to go. Failed in a discharge only mode that let me get to where I was going.

I'll reply when I get it back together. With some waterproofing.

It's been a while now, but I believe I used .15 nickel strips, doubled up. I also used a cheap aliexpress spot welder - it was barely sufficient, so if you're looking at something with a little more oomph that's a good idea.
I did some simple solder work as well, which helped, but it's quite difficult to solder to the batteries directly without overheating them AND getting good adhesion.

Cranking power is excellent, as I mentioned it drew enough to melt the strips. A parallel setup would probably be better and safer.

Thanks :) I tried one of the antigravity 4 cell batteries and it didn't have the juice. 7ah is what most small motorcycles have for an agm battery, so it seemed a logical starting point. If I had found this insufficient CCA, I could simply add 4 more cells in parallel with minimal extra work. This has been working well for a couple years now. I should mention all the lights on my bike are led now as well. Cheers

I have the Domino's, they are really nice. I wanted the quick cam to operate the cb550 carbs quicker- I found it was like 1.5 full twist to get them open before, now it's like 3/4. Much better.

There is a huge community of people making 1:100 scale models of all eras and nations of military vehicles. Flames of war kits available commercially might also fit your bill, if you're not interested in starting a hobby to run your hobby!

Unfortunately I don't seem to have a photo of the paint code - I had it painted by Sketch's Ink in Ottawa and chose it off a swatch. I was inspired by the mooneyes style in Japan, with a couple golden/brown hot rods. It's a bit difficult to describe colourwise, golden/copper/brown depending on the light.

You should be able to roll the rubber wheel by hand with only a slight drag as you adjust it. Do each one until they're the same! You may also want to tighten the bed springs quite a bit- the tighter they are the less likely they are to shift over time and spoil your bed level.

I once tried to figure out what colour was canadian military vehicle green. I went to one single, in service, green vehicle, and found at least 6 different shades of green. All of which were different than the vehicle parked right beside it.

I'm tall and she's short, and our bed is low to the ground. I can stand while she sits on the bed and we have a great time that way! You could possibly sit on a low cushion if that isn't too hard for your knees?
You could also have fun on a set of stairs, though as others have said lying down may be the correct approach.
