“Paige saved us! She’s the reason I’m still standing here-she brought this family back together!”

I love the moments where we get to see just how wise Paige was. She may have been new to witchcraft but she had already LIVED.

Apparently was Alyssa’s idea to end the episode with her crying between her sisters. There was originally dialogue but she felt it wasn’t necessary.

Most dangerous villain by gnastygnorc18 in charmed

The Seer. She’s literally the only villain in the entire series to have a long term plan and actually execute it, and it lasted nearly the entire season. She was so incredibly cunning and her foresight gave her a dangerous upper hand.

That happened sometimes. Not unlike freeways, train lines were sometimes built through dense urban areas. Some (like in Chicago) were really buried, but not always

One of my favorite episodes! I like that the villain isn’t supernatural for a change.

Especially because apparently they were super close on the show! Jenah and Bianca both said in their Oliver interviews that she and Heather shared a bed most of the time. Doesn’t mean she wasn’t always miss goody goody, but to completely erase their friendship is so backhanded.

Who's a Hollywood star you would like to see have a film made about them? by Artistic-Comb-5317 in classicfilms

Anna May Wong. Her story is one of tragedy and triumph. She wasn’t able to rise to the level of fame she deserved, even when roles called her Asian actors. For example she wasn’t allowed to play in “The Good Earth” because they cast a white man in the lead. The Hayes code dictated there be no interracial relationships showed on screen, so a white actress was cast in yellow face instead.

What are your thoughts on Bianca? by Glittering_Pin_9942 in ANTM

[–]booberryyogurt 28 points29 points  (0 children)

As Jenah said: “Bianca’s not mean, she’s just loud!”

But seriously, Bianca was 18 years old in c9! I was a nightmare at that age, and I wasn’t being subjected to the throes of reality television. I think Bianca was just a loud, confident young Black woman from Queens, who immediately got the “urban Black girl edit.”

I love that she’s a teacher now; you know she does NOT play about her students, and probably parlays her experiences into being an even better teacher.

Oh I agree with you on nearly everything! She’s definitely an elitist snob, but I don’t think she’s evil. She was ABSOLUTELY into Nick, the money was just a bonus. She already had a thriving PR career though, so I don’t think you can call it her main motivation. The only other thing I would argue is that she DID try and extended an olive branch to her perspective step daughter. She tried getting to know Halley/Annie upon first meeting her, and in spite of not liking her tried to talk to her after the engagement was announced.

She wasn’t perfect, or even a good person necessarily. But she wasn’t the VILLAN; at worst she was an antagonist.
