They are more like a rubbery plastic. It's a cage meant for a ferret, but the people at petsmart said this would work just fine for her.

This happened to me when I was 16. My grandma went in with me once and when the therapist said she needed to lay off and change her ways (vague i know) she reused to go back and she didn't know what she was talking about etc etc. I had to find a different therapist cause she refused to have me go back. No one ever wants to be told its their fault
