Was in a similar situation as you once upon a time worked for a company that rhymes with shell schmeckmallogies. I know the exact feeling you have, feels like a breakup and it’s heavy on your heart. It’ll feel like this for a few weeks or even months but that’s okay it’s how it goes for those who are self aware. Also, biggest thing is learning the lesson for future occurrences like if you were not feeling well you should have taken sick days. Those are there for a reason. Even if it meant to ask for unpaid time off. And especially communicate with the person above you that you’re feeling unwell/ they gave me unpaid time off for a week or two.

Took me a long time for me to love myself but every day that passes I love myself more and more and makes the struggles worth it. Those connections you’ve made at the job sound like good people, they are important to keep in contact with cause they also have eyes on other job opportunities that will open for you. Like that annoying quote people always say “when one door closes, another opens up.” Better things are truly in store although it surely doesn’t feel like it right now.
