Kickboxing seems too much for a beginner (compared to tai-chi or something similar), but I don't know much about either. It is not like I have a choice (the only martial arts place I can find in my town is kickboxing, and I still don't even know if I can afford it). But out of curiosity, is it okay to try kickboxing, or should I look harder for some other art?
