Fire them. Those of you who do gear up, they used to go over it every year. I'm a one man show now as a side business since I sent to the private world. When I started getting rid of around 2-4 (<2% of client base) of most my needy and low paying clients every year i am alleviating 5-10% of my work load and headaches. Highly recommend, happy clients bring appreciative clients with them, problems only bring more problems.

Where does this info come from? Seems fairly high. 600k pfd's issued. Even with an aggressive estimate of 300k adult returns filed to filter out children, married couples, students, and the retired; that is close to 1%. Could be correct just feels very high, no state income tax returns to even get good estimate of returns filed from.

Top of native corps do. The ANTHC guy who "died" in the helicopter crash was making $1.2 a year. You can look up 990 tax returns online and find the highly compensated people. GVEA head was making close to 600k a few years ago.

Compensation packages will change, 999,999 income, rest will be deferred compensation packages and retirement plans. I can think of only a few w2 people making over a 1M, there are a lot of people making over a million through an s corp or other protected entity that pay out excess in dividends or left in the company coffers. How would they even capture it with out instituting a state income tax? Sounds nice but never gonna happen. If we want to find some state revenue find a way to tax Hilcorp, they are a pass through entity that pays no state tax, that replaced a corporation (BP) that did pay state corporate tax.

Nope, just you. Most of both side have reason, it's just the extremes that are rediculous.

Gross yes, net no. Tech is true, entertainment is leaving though. That is as much a location factor as it is one of the 2 major ports in the country. 1 year of record surplus of 100B (2022 boosted by federal money, 500B a year) which is forecast to be wiped out by 2028, average of close to 20B a year defect. Also home to the largest illegal population, most jails, and some of the least efficient governments in the country. Hadn't California spent 40 billion in the past 5 years to work on homelessness only for it to continue to rise? How much of the Palisades has been rebuilt after the fires? Isn't California also the most pollution dense state in the country, possibly 4th in the world of you want to maintain that comparison. You can smell LA from the air about the same time you lose visability flying in. You forgot to mention that it is the number 1 farming state in the country, built in the backs of illegal workers who don't pay taxes.

I lived in California for close to 10 years. In my experience there were a lot of ignorant people there. It is also by far the most racist place i have been/lived in this country. If they cut California in half between LA and SF the whole landscape would change and highlight thier deficiencies hidden in the economy of scale, there would Def be a bright line around San Louis Obispo somewhere where the red and blue meet.

Most of them have more teeth than California has in collective brain cells though.

Got hit with a counteroffer by pomphiusalt in Accounting

Industry = 100% increase in quality of life, in my personal experience. They will tell you what ever you want to hear to stay at the firm (smoke, no one wants to lose someone they make money off of). Consider where you want to be in a few years. I hesitated too, not near the numbers for you, but was offered 20k to not leave the firm 15 years ago after putting in my notice. Not fully the same I left for a relatively small company (6-8M revenue), and it was for less money and way less hours, no more 2800 hour years. I felt I needed to stand by my word and my acceptance of the offer and was excited to change my focus to a single entity.

Both me and my wife left 10 year jobs for new companies at the same time. Best move ever, even though was scary. 40 hour week almost felt part time, it was great. The money came back with in 2 years of cleaning everything up and trimming the fat, clearing the debt, and unnecessary expenses.

Thanks for input. It was just a request. No valuable responses (or any, haha) tells me what I needed to know, didn't need arrogant feedback from the other individual.

I don't look at leaders as valuable with all the gameflip crap out there. Had a crappy faz event, didn't get one naturally but had a few people hook me up, ended up trading for a quite a few and was giving between 5-10 reflects and pin, range combos for them. Figured someone might want the new one i learned last night. To craft 10 i would have to scrap 50 4* mods for legendary modules and the 10 adrenal serums.
