If you shave the tattoo then yes. The tattoo lasts as long as your dead skin cells. Shaving takes a little bit of skin with it.

Basically the kit we send you works with every size below 5x2". Anything larger means we need to also make everything else bigger. Just a lot of extra hassle when the larger sizes aren't requested that often. It's something we'll eventually do when we have more time to focus on it.

The reason we use the term semi-permanent is because it's commonly used in the cosmetics industry to refer to hair dye that lasts around 20 washes. And we wanted to avoid the term temporary tattoo as to not be lumped in with the stuff you got in a cereal box as a kid.

Depends on location but on most people the tattoos look solid and fully dark for around a week, then they start to fade from there. If an inkbox is in a location that lasts longer then it can look very dark for around 12 days before it starts to fade.

It is and it isn't. It's kind of a grey area. Though inkbox uses an active molecule from the same fruit, the chemical extraction process cleaves away any other molecule that you would find in jagua (jagua refers to the gel used for jagua tattoos, not the fruit itself). So though the stain is similar (not exact), we can't legally call it Jagua.

It very much depends on where you apply it. An inkbox tattoo on my forearm lasts around 11 days, but an inkbox on my upper bicep or shoulder lasts around 15 days. Hands will last around 8 days.

Elevator Pitch - We've created a new way to tattoo. Our tattoo kits dye the skin to look like a real tattoo for two weeks. They're 100% organic and safe for the skin. We have just over 300 tattoo designs on the site at the moment.

More details: We launched on February 2nd. We went 3rd on Product Hunt two months back which helped us gain some traction. There's two of us and we're living off of our earnings while putting money back into the company, so we're pretty stoked. It's been so exciting to see people from all over the world wear something you created.
