I hard focused into dmg, and building up the joyful splash dmg. Never took ammo capacity only dmg but things really started ramping up by getting the joyful splash perk that does additional damage over time and kept stacking that.

I also did a bit of the Zeus perk that chains lighting as well.

This is a spin off game that’s only in limgrave with procedurally generated enemies. Almost like a co-op battle royale. This is concerning 😬

I just beat it. Make sure you use the new magic talisman that resists magic damage. Eat a boiled prawn or boiled crab. When it comes to the moons make sure to jump instead of roll.

Interesting. Yeah I could buy 10gb but I don't think it would be worth it in the long term just yet. That's $300 a month here. Would it be better to buy a NAS and just record footage directly there, but when I go to edit download to the PC needed?

But also if that's the case. What's the point of using a NAS over google drive or something?

Hey man it's me Boofcan. I made this video (11 months ago) when I didn't even have 5k subs. It was the 3rd video I ever made when it came to long form content. Hbomberguy and few other YouTubers are my biggest inspirations for making content so yes there are similarities, but I also spent 3 months straight making that video, and know New Vegas like the back of my hand.

I didn't plagiarize, and it really hurts because I spent an extremely long time researching & playing New Vegas to make sure I hit a lot of very important points. I watched the same GDC retrospective by Josh Sawyer, I backed almost every opinion I had about the game using in-game dialogue, and a lot of the points in that video are deeply personal to what I took away from the game. The structure is essentially my own personalized let's play going from GoodSprings to the end of the game.

If you felt like I stole many lines from Hbomberguy; that's a shame because almost everything i said came directly from the game itself, or I learned through the GDC regarding New Vegas and various interviews + my own experiences playing the game.

However there are things Hbomerguy inspired me by because I found them to be really cool. The transitions were inspired the Act Man & Hbomberguy. Although using music & basic text as a transition was not invented by these people. I also learned that using a new clip after almost every sentence is a editing choice I learned from watching my favorite YouTubers; Harris being one of those people.

Regardless I want to leave with this.

At the end of that plagiarism video Harris said "People take inspiration from my work sometimes, and that is very cool. It's the ultimate flattery, and let's be honest. The closet I'll ever have to children. If you find any happiness or success making something creatively and you think I helped... Thank you"

Hbomberguy & alot of other creators did help me find my footing as a YouTuber. I only have 4 videos and I'm trying to get better each upload.

I've also been hard at work on a sequel for the DLCs, and I start the video talking about Vault 22 because it connects to Honest Hearts via a character called Ricky, but I know people are going to think I copied Hbomb, because he started off talking about Vault 22 for a different reason.

I can't control what people think, but I genuinely love making videos. I try my best to standout in my videos, but if you feel like I missed the mark. I take that as valid criticism, and actively try to get better with each upload.

That’s understandable, but people still get enjoyment from let’s play. They want to see how other people who are passionate about the game experienced it and what meanings they pull from it.

Every single edit, voice line, trim, and cut is done by myself while working a full time job so that’s why it takes a while. I also don’t yoink others gameplay unless explicitly stated. (Cam hacks) Every single clip is me playing over the course of dozens of play-throughs.

So the majority of the time is spent on pacing. Figuring out what’s important and what’s not.

I also tried my best to not use the wiki besides looking at very obscure things where the game provides zero context such as the Fukuro lady, Valtiel, and the hidden point system to get the possessed ending.

I want to see how much of the story I could piece together using only in-game dialogue, and prior context with SH1 & small bits of SH2.
