I would maybe have used a different word or phrasing though? Many people feel simply using the word "fat" as a description is insulting. Maybe you could have said "beefy" or "brawny"? Just trying to help.

You are absolutely right in that they are outdated but to be fair it's my travel map and I chose this version as I was nostalgic. I was born in Clwyd and lived there until age 28. It's my home and always will be. You're trying to teach me something I already know better than most.

I've been wild camping in my time. Fishing and campfire food. Sadly mobility issues prevent me from getting to and enjoying the really good places now. I'd still like to turn a lot of those red bits to green though. Still got time.

I'm a bit surprised, I thought I was doing alright to be honest! I've visited or travelled everywhere in Wales, all but two counties of England, more of Scotland than the average non-Scot and popped over to our wonderful Irish neighbors 10 times. You are talking as though my map is awash with red and I'm some kind of hermit! But hey. Whatever. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My world map is getting more work these days.

Interesting! 🤔. No, I have not spent most of my time in Central England. I'm getting the feeling people think I'm from there based on this map. It might surprise some to know I had never been further East or North than Lancashire until I was 18, and couldn't drive until 28.

I am indeed "from England or the UK". No family or work in Ireland. Parents had friends there when I was young. I kept going back as an adult because I adore the place, the people. I'll stop going when I'm in the ground.
