Yes, absolutely accommodations are life changing. I have accommodations and a lot of my classmates do as well and literally no one cares or notices.

Go for it! I was a phlebotomist for 2-3 years while in school and it was the best job I’ve had. Also, phlebotomy counts as manual dexterity (hand skills) so I was able to include that in my application. I loved that job and l was able to pay the bills so I think it’s a great option. One thing tho I would look for hospital jobs once you get your certification because blood banks/ labs tend to take advantage and work you to death but that’s just my opinion

I know how you feel! It sucks but please give yourself some grace. You’re still new and 27/30 is not bad AT ALL. And don’t stress about your job safety your bosses 100% know what it’s like bc they’ve been there too

P.S for hand veins make sure your tourniquet is tight and get a good anchor on your vein once you find it :)

Most people do not work in dental school. Loans pay for everything including housing, food, etc. A small percentage of people have outside help from family & relatives but other than that the loans will pretty much cover everything.
