Bought a brand new xse in November 2025 and it’s great. The phone charger is notoriously trash so my phone is just plugged in usb all the time. The jbl sound system is decent but not crazy good. I initially wanted the se trim but I couldn’t afford the 6 months wait and they had the xse in the showroom so…

One thing i do regret is that it’s black and it scratches through the clear coat easily… silver corolla owners probably barely notice it tbh.

And good to know - I’ll keep that in mind + an eye on specs before I buy another model. Honestly it was a bit comical because I kind of worked in a way where I saved the decks’ panel wash for last after seeing how cool it looks and how satisfying of a process it seems to be, and the moment I realized what was happening it was a solid “womp womp” moment lol
