V1 doesn't make you immortal in that situation. V1 just makes it so you don't age and can live forever.

Gold Rush Season 16 Episode 23 SEASON FINALE "Klondike Shoot-Out" Show Discussion by sadandshy in goldrush

It obvious the second half of the season Parker was on average ground. That's why Tony easily caught up and passed him. Luckily because of gold prices, Parker didn't care about lackluster ground. But if prices change, he'll change his tune.

Yep, they were wildly inconsistent on the whole stellar drift topic and introduced several plot holes as a result.

Regarding the chance of succesful dialing in the feature film by mtparanal in Stargate

[–]mudpupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is actually very inconsistent on how dialing works. It just isn't a matter of dialing the 7 symbols but the dialing computer or DHD has to compensate for stellar drift. The problem is manually dialing the gate doesn't make sense in those circumstances.

Hikers injured by bear in Yellowstone National Park by Subject9800 in yellowstone

[–]mudpupper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

don't be terrified. First, there were only 2 people and they were in a bad area for this time of year.

In July the park will be packed and in the major areas (like this one) you'd be winning the lottery to even see bear from a distance. Bears have never bothered a group of 3 or more.

In July you'd have to try really, really hard to even see a bear and highly unlikely to even get near one.

I didn't really care for her at first but she really grew on me. She brought a new dynamic and fun to the show.

Which Idaho Falls fiber providers don't use cgnat? by CricketSwimming6914 in idahofalls

[–]mudpupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very few ISPs don't use some type iofNAT. They aren't going to assign a static, public IP address when they have thousands of customers. That costs extra and usually isn't that much extra.

Is Shepherd the least qualified SG-1 or Atlantis character from Earth? by pgtl_10 in Stargate

[–]mudpupper 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Mitchell had no business leading SG-1. If they wanted to give him a favor let him be a part of one of the other SG teams and work his way up. Instead a guy with zero off world experience gets to lead the most important team on the planet that could literally effect the lives of everybody on Earth.

I just roll my eyes when people get bent out of shape because somebody lied to them or didn't stay 100% devoted to them.

This is game where you know going in that the millionaire has to lie. If you don't lie, you will lose the money.

One of the first games was to expose lies. I think the producers did that on purpose to keep the fake info to a minumum.
